  • Well I intended getting up early to do my list before work but didn't mean 4.30am! Woke at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep so got up at 4.30 and had a cuppa, a quick glance on here and then got on with it.

Have finished the kitchen (level 3) although didn't need to do the oven or sort the fridge as everything in there is newly bought when came back from hols.

Don't have a dining room and include dining room table when I do the living room so that made life easier. I did a few bits of ironing too. Not sure I am up to a declutter this ealy in the morning so think I may pop back to bed and see if I can get an hour's sleep in. One thing's for sure - going to be cream crackered later!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Morning all,

It looks like it's going to be a rainy day here today, so I don't think I'll be able to get any washing out, but am (sort of) looking forward to cleaning the kitchen and dining room. I did the kitchen pretty thoroughly last week, so it shouldn't take me all day again!

I've made myself a spreadsheet with all the jobs that need doing on it which I update when they are done and then it goes red when they are overdue - how sad am I????? The idea is that DH can have a look and work out what needs to be done himself!!!!

Right then, off to the dishwasher to clean the filter out - or rather DH will have to do this because it makes me gag.

Hope the weather is nicer for everyone than it is here!

Other list done, so I'll write my dailies up instead.

    Vacuum all high-traffic areas
[STRIKE]S and S bathroom (always have trouble getting this one done!)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Make beds[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Put washing on if needed[/STRIKE]
Will also do something with that airing cupboard today. Time to stop threatening and start doing.
    [STRIKE]Sort cupboard under the sink[/STRIKE].

I'm glad I got done so quickly this morning, but feel like I've missed something. I'll get dressed in a minute and I have the rest of the day to work it out. Take care all and happy flying.

PS, Does anyone know how long you're supposed to leave beds airing in the morning to discourage dust mites? I usually leave them for about two hours with the window open.

I try to do that when I go into the bathroom to clean my teeth in the morning, it's the only way I remember.
