Just a thought michelle..... does your Dad have fully comp and is it protected? If so, and assuming they would not write your car off due to it's age, you might both be able to have your cars repaired.
I dunno - i know my mum and dad haven't had much luck with their cars. A few years ago my mum reversed their car into my sisters car, also on their drive. I think they need to learn to be more careful or we will stop visiting.
I am going back to their house tomorrow, but i didn't really talk to my dad about it as he just shouted at my mum to tell me, but was rushing to get to the hospital. My mum did say they would pay for any damage, but to be honest, mine is mainly scratches (although one is about a foot long) with one big dint near the boot, and i think DH will have a go at popping it out and touching up the paint before it rusts up bad. I just really hate things that are marked/damaged.
My BIL is a mechanic, so we will probably work something out through him, and i am not going to stress about it.
Just a pain though isn't it. Shows perhaps that we should focus as much on ourselves as getting to the hospital for visiting time.

Have just peeked at tomorrow's list. My study is my downfall. It's a lovely big room and it is absolutely full to the brim with CLUTTER!!
I cannot clean the floor round the clutter because unless I move something, I will not be able to see the floor at all. I will not be able to clear the rubbish off my desk because I can't get to my desk! Please can someone tell me where to start on a disaster area of such epic proportions. I've reached the stage of just keeping the door closed and pretending it isn't there.
I can do the bathroom stuff ok - that's fairly easy to keep on top of, so will put those bits on my list for the morning.
Here goes:-
Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms(even if it is around clutter) - can't do the study as I can't see the floor at all
Level Two
Clear any clutter from desk - can't get to my desk - see above
Clean bath, toilet and sink - easy peasy, I like doing this
Dust PC and desk - I cleaned laptop today because it's in the living room. No dust on my desk I don't think - the clutter on top of it is keeping it at bay!
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important) - Will wipe it again more thoroughly now I know this - is that really true? Yuk!
Level Three
Clear clutter from floor - I would need a fortnight, really I would
Wipe down tiles in bathroom - all of them??
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clean windows - Hurray for my small windows
Declutter Mission Task
Clear one HOTSPOT! Even if it's just for 10 minutes.
I've also got school runs, playschool runs, washing, supper to plan and cook, bread to bake and a baby to look after, so it's going to be another fun one.
Seriously though, any help on how to tackle my disaster area much appreciated.
