Well.. I have done 4 loads of washing today.. brought a basket full down from upstairs.. hung it all otu to dry folded the dry stuff.. just need to sort it into piles for the owners to put it away. DW loaded twice.
I'm going to do dinner.. spag. bol.. easy food!!!
Then everyone is going to bed and I am having a nap then off to find my glad rags!! I've stayed in 3 nights running and am getting cabin fever!! Hubby can go for a run while I get a shower and make myself look less haggard lmao!!
It is gloriously sunshiney here today!
Oh.. and my little TD keeps burning all the fluff.. it has a bit of loose metal which is rubbing on the door and casing sparks which ignite the fluff on the door.. saves cleaning it!
food then...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Im pleased today, ive managed to get all i wanted to do done today (apart from the kitchen floor) so my house is now looking a bit tidier, and we have clean clothes to wear!!!!
About to go to a friends for dinner, and i might clean the floor when we get back (then again, i might leave it for tomorrow!!!).
Have a good evening everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Maralum I'm fretting that you didn't get your shower curtain and lamp now. I have visions (trying not to though!) of you having to put up a tent and groundsheet in the livingroom and the midwife using a torch. Is that a good alternative? :rotfl: Hope you get sorted before it happens though.
Now that's an idea with merit! Easily available and MSE! :rotfl:0 -
Hellooooooooooooo :hello:
torianut Enjoy your take-away, I'm a sucker for Chicken Chow Mein, usually wait till OH's got his wallet out though
nell You've done loads :T
maralum <<I'm going to keep the tags on and if I don't use them, they're going back. MSE eat your heart out.>>
Tracy Woohoo, where you taking me?
catowen Glad you're feeling a bit brighter this week x
I've just done tea and about to load the DW, not done any of lilme's list but the master bedroom only takes 15 mins so I'll add it to tomorrows list. I'm definitely gonna do the landing and stairs tomorrow too, teenie was horrified that a Mark Owen lookalike has been in her bedroom and she'd left her dirty underwear lying about lmao :rotfl: that'll teach her! :A0 -
Thanks embb - I am useless at remembering everyones name and quoting them personally but thats lovely when you do.
Very jealous about the Mark Owen thing although with my rednose (due to my cold) and bags under eyes (due to LO waking for 2 hours in nite and then getting up before 6) today would not have been a good day for him to call!!!0 -
Hello everyone, I'm pretty sure everyone has done more than me as I have done nothing on lilme's list today. I have been shopping, and then put my feet up and watched a dvd this afternoon. And, because it always happens like this have just had a call saying someone is coming round tonight, so must away and do a little tidying in lounge and loo.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Managed to get into town, bought my mat/breast pads, bed protector squares etc, but no shower curtain or lamp, it was just too far away and I didn't feel up to it. Will just have to send DH out on the day!
One of my friends had a home birth, and she used bubble wrap (the kind you buy on a roll for when you pack your stuff when you move house). She reckoned it was really good as she had the baby while kneeling and it gave her a bit of extra padding under the knees.
Thought I'd share this! You only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -
Good tip mermaid - thankyou! They do that in my local poundland too! It looks like I'll HAVE to go now. Oh poop.0

Heavens is this Flylady the Wilderness Hours?
Where'd everyone go tonight? Busy I guess.
I'm shattered, not sure if I finished my list or not, its been a bit of a blur. It feels like I have and then some. I'm not going to look at tomorrows list today, I'm confused enough. Wish you all a useful evening and thanks for your lovely company on my day off.
