This is the lesson I haven't learnt yet, you never know when someone's gonna turn up so GET IT DONE!!

Are you kidding me? I always know when company's coming. If my son hasn't flushed the toilet, there's a huge pile of washing on the kitchen floor and somebody has made my house smell like cat poop, then you can be sure that someone's on the way! :rotfl:

Oh, and I'll still be in my dressing gown too.

    • [STRIKE]Ebay listings - if there is time.[/STRIKE] - GOing to leave this today so I can tackle the ironing instead.
I also have emptied all the bins & hoover, then put the hoover hard bits (bagless one) in the sink to soak until I get back from school, and the filters are in the washing machine on a rinse. ;) Too tired now and my 3pm alarm has just gone off so time to leave to get DD while leaving the computer on for it to do it's virus scan :D Saves messing around later when I get back in and I want to do stuff but the computer is really slow ;) Right, Co-op here I come again!

I only put in for the job yesterday and wasn't expecting such a quick response (gold star for that mind you) oh and on the plus side his 'little helper' was the spitting double of Mark Owen - I kid you not I had to do a double take but then realised MO wouldn't be coming to fix my leccy duuuuuur!

    Hi everyone
Just checking in with an updated list. It doesn't look too bad when I see quite a lot of it crossed off, and I've decided to leave the vacuuming until last today because LO was asleep while I was doing the rest of it. DD2 wants to make banana bread now, so I need to nip out a buy some eggs.

Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes

    Other jobs
[STRIKE]2 cheques to pay in at the bank (mobile chequebacks)

Lol embb, I'm council too, but the last workman I had here said to me "Wow, a woman who knows where the stopcock is - miracles really do happen!" Needless to say, I didn't make him a cup of tea. He's lucky I didn't make him a eunuch either! :p

Well, I still didn't do the cupboard, but for once, I had a good reason. I have finally packed my maternity bag! :D Then realised I don't own a single item of nightwear! Am now on my way to pick up Owen and pop to Primark - I'm going to keep the tags on and if I don't use them, they're going back. ;) MSE eat your heart out.

Well done to all of those who've crossed off any items today - remember, even if it's only one task, it's still one LESS task!

Emmie I bought some this morning as a gamble and all my towels and bathmats went in and they're miles better!! Fab isn't it. Ta for remembering though!

Maralum I'm fretting that you didn't get your shower curtain and lamp now. I have visions (trying not to though!) of you having to put up a tent and groundsheet in the livingroom and the midwife using a torch. Is that a good alternative? :rotfl: Hope you get sorted before it happens though.

I've mowed and am worn out. There's not much left on the list for today for me. Another cuppa I think.
