Morning everyone. Busy Wednesday already!! Another week flying by.

Can't promise much today, as i plan to be out till about 7. Supposed to be out the door in about 15 mins, but it doesn't matter if i'm a bit late for playgroup.

Me and baby are fed, an he has had his omega 3 supplement, and i can scratch a couple of things off the list. DH informed me last night he may need to work away this weekend. Hopefully he can arrange not to, as that is where most of my housework gets done. I suppose at least it will be some overtime pay, which we do need at the moment, but i will be shattered doing everything myself.

bed was changed last Saturday,so i may leave until Friday to do that again.

    Anyways:
    Wednesday 25/4:
    Level Two
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1

Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
    Level 2
    Vacuum sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
    Level 3
    Clean window
    Wipe light switches and banister
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes

    Wednesday, Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
Remove bed linen and wash, replace with fresh
    Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Vacuum floor in bedroom and on landing
    Level 3
    Clean window & wipe windowsill
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen
    Wipe doors and handles
    Declutter Mission Task
Choose one drawer to sort through and clear any clutter from.

    Deal with post
    Make baby bottles

maralum you can get some mattress protector thingies in boots. They are about the size of a cot sheet folded in half, and are basically waterproof on one side, and the other side has got an absorbant cotton layer. I bought some of them (pack of 5) for when i was at the end of my pregnancy, and luckily i did as i was in bed when my waters went. They are also handy afterwards for if you are bleeding heavily just to give you that peace of mind, and they weren't that pricy, just a few quid if i remember rightly. Not long now, i was 8 days early.

Today I have to go and buy some plastic sheeting and an angle-poise lamp, both for the labour. Midwife had a great idea, said to go and buy a shower curtain from poundland! Obviously used to doing things on a budget - OS lurker perhaps?? ]

Try asda if not - I got a shower curtain for 97p from there!

Morning folks:j Had an early night AND a lie in this morning as DH left for a late meeting but still felt grotty when I got up. But second cuppa, shower and checked bank account and I've got my tax credits I've finally got round to claiming so my bank balance is looking very healthly. May was to be our hardest month, DH gets a lump sum at the end of May so things were okay from then but now this extra means we can actually live next month and eat okay. I feel so much better now, the whole money thing must have been weighing heavly, its also a blessing as DH has decided to start slimming world so not too sure now it'll affect my food budget.

Maralum - I did the tea thing from 34 weeks and I was a week late so it doesn't get things going BUT I had a fast and easy labour (as far as labour goes - its bl**dy hard work to say the least lol) and needed no help. The tea is supposed to get your lady muscles (smirk) strong so you can push well and make the most of contractions from the beginning of labour. I'd get drinking it now, I was on about 6 cups a day by the time bubs came. Fortunatley though my waters didn't break, they had to do it as baby was born  but at least I had no mess to deal with.

Nicki - well done on the inch loss, bad news though, I brought DH a flying for his bday (9 months ago) and he's still raving about it - you could be in for going on about it forever!

    Wednesday, Master Bedroom & Landing

    Good Morning everyone
Hope you are all feeling ok today. DH went off to work early this morning, so I got up well before the children and had a good soak in the bath. Lovely!
Anyway, DD1 is at school (and I walked rather than getting the car out so feel virtuous about that), I've done a load of washing already, and I'm just having a quick sit down with a cuppa before starting on my list. DD2 and the baby are here so I have two little 'helpers'! I'm doing yesterday's list today as I posted yesterday.

    Level 1
Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
    Level 2
    Vacuum floor and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe - collect up toys and put them in respective children's bedrooms
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets and put the DVDs back into the right boxes.
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
    Level 3
    Clean window
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes

    Other jobs
2 cheques to pay in at the bank (mobile chequebacks)
    Take DD2 to music lesson
    One more load of washing
    Laundry to put away
2 thank you cards to write
    Make beds
    Hoover kitchen floor

Right, it's time to fly (as Aunty Mabel would say - if you don't have LO's you won't have a clue what I'm talking about!)
Look forward to hearing how we've all done later.

Still full of a cold and LO was up from 2 - 4 in the night! luckily DH is wonderful and got up most of the time with him - still in need of sleep though.

He is asleep now so going to get ironing done and then make a start on bedroom - hoovered yesterday and bedding in wash now - could do with the sun coming out to get it dry though!

Gosh, it's been weeks since I've done any flying,
I see moggins isn't back n the flylady thread yet-I hope all is well with you.
My house has really escaped me, but no motivation at the moment. I'm with you all in spirit and feeling very guilty for my lack of energy.
I'll go back and read all the posts for this week and hope that gives me a kick up the bum !!
    Have a nice day all,
    Looby:A

I had to listen to it all over again this morning when he told DD  Then he remember some things he wanted to tell me about it, then he told DD the things again... I may be banging his head against the wall at this rate never mind mine :rotfl:

Just sat down for what was supposed to be 15 minutes break but I spotted Martins newsletter in my inbox and decided to have a look...next thing I know I've got the accordian file with all the tax paperwork out  I've stopped myself NOW (30 minutes later) so I can get on with some other jobs. It's lovely and breezy here, and the sun is trying to come out so I have a load of washing on the line :T Did another one with just Bio-tex in to try and get the ground in muck off DD's white school socks and the cleaning cloths - kind of worked, so I've put the lights in with a bio-tex pre-wash...it should be done in about another hour or so
