Nell2, just have a lovely evening and spend ten mins thinking of what you might tackle tomorrow ;)
Excellent advice! I have decided to do today's list tomorrow, and write off today as a day devoted to my children! I can't do the main bedroom in anycase as DH is half way through building a piece of flat pack furniture which is in bits all over the place in there.
Have made myself a revised list to do NOW!

    Empty dishwasher
    Load supper dishes into dishwasher
    Wash pots from supper
    Make DD1's lunch box
Put a loaf of bread on for the morning
Put a load of washing in
Take out the dry stuff from the dryer, fold and sort to be put away tomorrow
    Shine my sink:D

Hope I'm not being too naughty reorganising the days of the week already!
  • hello all

sorry can't remember who it was and soooo tired can't look back through - don't feel bad about your house - my drive has been the same as when the builder dug it up for 21/2 years, my dr has no coving just the mess that coving needs to cover and my hall needs decorating from extension and bedroom is just 'skim' - people like coming to my house because i am their friend - and its comfortable and we have a lovely time - i am sure it is the same with you - do not worry you have already had some good advice - just ignore it - i missed my mum's concrete floor when they had new flooring!!

pigpen - i want your list - no hang on i think i have done yours this week!!

i have just returned from a 420 mile round trip for a study day! have been learning about the pelvis, labour and position of babies!! it was great and i didn't think about the awful weekend once - just what i needed

because of the weekend and today (i left home at half 5) my house is a tip - so will have to do some catch up tomorrow - birthday party in morning for dd2 and me when dd1 at preschool, i can't cope with swimming for dd2 as well and friend over in afternoon who is visiting family from overseas so will need to do token effort

well off to eat something as service station food is so expensive that i refused to buy anything this evening so haven't eaten since packed lunch - that in itself is a miracle for me

hang on in there newbies and take inspiration from those excellent flyers not us lazy disorganised cows!! just pity us!! (sorry no smilies as that involves effort)
  • just a quickie before i go and get tucked in for sleep!! do i ever make sense!!
  • Well for once i have actually done some living room. Only level 2 but i'm pretty pleased with that - who needs to clean the window when you can't see it behind the nets anyway?
As always i'm switching bedroom to friday to make room for date night, were watching Eragon tomorrow, I'm so excited!!

    Well, another busy day!

I was fortunate enough to get good weather in mermaid land today so I got 3 loads of washing dry on my newly fixed rotary clothes drier, which is just as well, as I only had one set of clean undies left, and it was the set the OH bought for me (now come on, we all have a set like this - you know, the stuff you wear on _SPECIAL_ occasions, and hope that nobody gets a peek of under your clothes  ).

A good friend called round for lunch unexpectedly, but I still managed to pull together a reasonable meal with little warning and an almost empty fridge! Amazing what you can do with a bowl of leftover rice, two aged spring onions and some dried fruit and nuts!

Managed to get all the garden furniture teak oiled this afternoon, and have spent most of the evening feeling a bit groggy and had a headache. Anyone here ever used Teak oil? Apparently it can spontaneously combust if you're not careful! The B&Q one I used is petroleum based.

Also managed to transplant some petunia and tomatoes. Fantastic to be outside in the garden until nearly 9pm without having to wear a coat.

Tesco delivery has been put away, so we won't starve this week.

Tomorrow will give master bedroom the once over, but it's not too bad, as I went through it at the weekend, and nobody's really had the chance to mess it up yet.

Now off for some junk TV, had great plans to do more this evening, but OH decided to stay in tonight and for some reason wants to spend some time with me (and no, wasn't planning on wearing _that_ underwear!).

    See you all tomorrow!

I don't usually get anywhere near the computer at night but as all males in house are watching footie it has given me a chance of a quick preview of tomorrows lists. I must say thanks again to lill_me for new format as I don't feel so pressured to get everything done. But I must say to newbies that I am in my third or fourth week of this and it does get easier. I have today cleaned half the glass in my glass fronted cabinet which has probably not been touched for years!! Having been taught how to pace myself I have left half for next week.

I changed our bed and dusted on Monday so I have a head start for tomorrow but no sons or DH to help so no heavy work will be done tomorrow.

My neighbour brought me a load of bedding plants they didn't need so hopefully tomorrow will be dry and I will get them planted.

Footballs finished so must get off computer.
