My OH has just rang me to say he's going flying tonight  Apparently one of the teachers at the school has his own plane and has just got a new GPS and wants OH and his colleague to come with him to show him how it works! So if you see a light aircraft flying over Blackpool/Manchester/Liverpool tonight sometime after 4.30 (how long it's going to take I have no idea) wave as it could be my OH :rotfl::rotfl:

Still got loads of jobs to do although kitchen is now presentable :o I think I'll take DD over to the laundrette after school to get all this stuff dry. That will give me a chance to put the towels in to wash and take them with me. ;) Will cost me a FORTUNE I can see it coming :o

Also Fixed my hoover! YAY. Cost me £7.99 but thats soooo much cheaper than a new one and fair enough it got through 2 belts in 2 mins, but thats now 3 belts in 7 years, a pretty good average i think. :D

    tick hope the fingers better!

Right im going to pack the car with things to go home, then see how much room i have for the things ive found to car boot! and fit as much of that in as possible, iron my uniform and polish my boots and see how much time i have left to see what else i can scrub off my list.

Well, got my list done and loads of extras.

Washed front door inside and out.
    Cleaned all windows.
    Vacuumed throughout.
    S and S'd bathroom.
    S and S'd kitchen.
Called tax credits to argue with them!

Called and got an appointment for today with a midwife. It went pretty well. I still won't find out who's delivering my baby until the day, but I have Vitamin K and syntometrine in my fridge now. I'm looking forward to it all really, can't wait to meet my baby girl. The midwife originally told me that "I'm sorry, but you've slipped through the net, you'll just have to deliver at the hospital." Yeah, right. I'm fat and angry. There's no way in hell that someone is going to tell me that and expect me to accept it. I wasn't rude, let's just say I brought her around to my way of thinking. Good job I'm ladylike.

Anyway, saying that my list is done, I think I overdid it a bit today. I'm now feeling a little wobbly. Off for a sit down methinks. Take care girly girls and keep on trucking. x

Well done maralum on sticking to your guns, I think a complaint to the local NHS trust would be in order once you baby is safely here.

But please start to take things easy coz you are really putting me to shame with what I am not achieveing and I don't have an excuse! :p

Right well i managed as much of lil_mes list as i could on my own.

Ive packed my car and the uniforms ready to jump into in a sec, but ive run out of time to do anything else. I blame my hoover, wasted a good few hrs of my life, but hey ho its sorted.

So to do when im back on Thurs... Lil_mes lists from Wed which will be Thurs's and Thurs's will be Fri's. Plus.....
Sort out my books from my bedroom
Paperwork - file and shred as appropriate.

Have a good rest of today and tomorrow everyone, see you on Thurs.

    Hi all,

Thought I would post my list now as it's looking like not much more will get done today.

I also printed the list off today, so I would not come back and get distracted (agaaaain) :o and so there I was, merrily working the list (from the easiest) when I got a phone call, asking why I had not completed work online? Now I have already mentioned that I am on holiday this week and so I said, work - what work? It would seem that I had an outstanding job that I had just totally forgot about   (and there was me, bragging that I was organised about work) :o . Net result, drop everything and dash out to do job which finishes today :o .

Anyway, it is not all doom and gloom. I sometimes go to a samba band meet on a Tuesday, and as it is in the vicinity of the job, have decided that I might as well call in tonight. Wasn't planning on going tonight, but as the job will pay my travel costs, thought I might as well incorporate it (money saving) :D I usually enjoy it once I am there!

So here is my (probably) completed list for today:

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
[STRIKE]Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    Vacuum floor and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
[STRIKE]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/STRIKE]
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
    Level 3
    Clean window
    [STRIKE]Wipe light switches and banister[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean any other glass like mirrors etc [/STRIKE] including all pictures!
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Declutter mission task
[STRIKE]Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes[/STRIKE] started last night

pigpen I know exactly how you feel re: weather! It is teeing it down here again today - 3rd day in a row! and I find it sooo hard to do anything when the weather is like this. I had such great plans for a massive declutter this week, but need the weather to be bright to help me!

Hope you all have a successful day, cleaning or not!
