I've sorted out the other set of photos, they're here if you want a nose. I've been asked to take photos for someone at work's baby's christening as well, so looks like I'll be getting lots of variety of photos for my portfolio.

Stunning piccies, I guess the very cute little one with the pigtails helps! ;)

Anybody have any ideas on what to buy DD for her birthday? She's two on Wednesday. I'm totally stumped  On my list I have a tea set and a pull-back Scooby-Doo car!

Have a look on the Early Learning Centre website - they have some good ideas. sometimes I find them a little expensive but once I have an idea of what I want I have a look around other places. Ds was 2 last year and we bought him this - he plays with it alot.

Especially since they were both baby things - I don't know about you, but I grow quite sentimental towards old baby things. It's so silly, I know my house will look better without !!!!!! cluttering it up, but I hate letting go of things.

I have a 2.5yo and a 4.5yo and you really don't want to know what baby stuff there is in my loft - I don't think even dh realises  I have just started giving some of the clothes away - so, don't do it before you're ready! Unless of course you have absolutely no where to store them ;)

Look after yourselves and don't overdo it See you all later. xx

Hello All! Just thought I'd catch up whilst baby is in bed. Hugs to all who want them.

Didn't mean to cheat but did some jobs last night as couldn't relax and DH was watching something I couldn't get into so did a few bits, also got up early with Dh as had to move sofas and cracked on while he had baby. Good job I did as baby has been clingy today, don't mind though as I get extra hugs! Pleased with my list:

    Level 1
[STRIKE]Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine) [/STRIKE]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Vacuum floor and sofas [/STRIKE](new sofas should arrive so will put old in garage and will hoover before they are collected at weekend)
[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Tidy shoes, coats and bags [/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Clean window[/STRIKE] - cheated, didn't need doing, only done at weekend
[STRIKE]Wipe light switches and banister [/STRIKE]- did when did floor last night
[STRIKE]Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)[/STRIKE] - most of furniture out of room so that was easy
    [STRIKE]Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes [/STRIKE]- went through all cupboard and drawers recently so nothing to be done, had a major declutter with trying to move.
    PLUS [STRIKE]dallies
    sofa delivery
hoover upstairs - here by 10am
clean shower screen[/STRIKE], did last night, usual S&S of bathrooms and kitchens will be enough
[STRIKE]Try and clean dining carpet marks - again[/STRIKE] - did last night
Post christening invites - will have a walk with baby after viewer

Not a lot left to do, dogs have been walked by FIL, just want to have a quick hoover and mop before viewer and sort tea (pasta bake so nothing to hard). Just having a relax (well, trying *grits teeth*) and a cuppa, thankfully baby is in bed as watching Jerry Springer about a brother and sister being in love and having sex:eek:

Just about to have lunch & sort this month budget out as the energy spurt is spent :rotfl: Plus I've been in-undated with requests from OH about taxes so my brain is in finance mode..again

Small rant ahead About 12 months back OH joined Unison and through them decided it would be a good idea to get professionals (:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) to sort out our income tax problem so he contacted "The Tax Refund Company". Near the end of last year we finally got a letter from them saying "we've sent the information off expect results in 6-8 weeks". Result : THEY have b*ggered up the corrections we'd already made with the IR and now OH has received a letter saying "you owe us £776 in unpaid taxes for X year" OH has FINALLY gotten around to speaking to the IR (he got the letter in February!) and our first priority is to sort out the mess "The Tax Refund Company" has made over car benefit  Then we can attempt to tackle the other errors on his tax calculations. I know we still owe them money but by my calculations it should only be around £500 for ALL the financial years from 2001/2 to 2005/6 ! The reason for his sudden ability to make that phone call? His wage slip arrived yesterday and he is on almost £100 less than he was last month due to them whacking him on the income tax:mad: Then he wonders why I am the one who pays all the bills and trys to keep to a budget after he then spent ages reconciling his eggcard statements from MARCH 2006 through to now in Money  *rant over*

Okay my pasta should be cooked now...I should go make lunch :o
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Panic over! I took it apart and found the belt had gone, replaced it and then started it up. Still didnt work. So i phoned the "nice man" at Dyson and he said i hadnt cleaned the spindle thing properly and had probably broken my belt again. So i took it apart on the phone to him and he was right!!! Was also dead impressed that it was a national rate no no a stupid 0870 no. Well done Dyson!!! Just phoned Currys and they have the belts so now have to dash into town to get a belt to finish cleaning!!!!

See you all later hopefully with a working hoover!
