Semding you a BIG HUG today maralum, just try and relax and take things easy esp if you are feeling dodgy.
I bet your DH is already having pangs of regret over what he did, I'd send him a text letting him know you are not feeling the best today and you need to get some more bits, you never know. Would prob be the first time a plastic shower curtain has been used as peace token!!!
Well w**k for me today (the paid kind!) so shan't get much done at all, but then what's my excuse been the rest of the week?????/ lol
Hope you all have a good day, catch you all later.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I started feeling funny yesterday afternoon, definite rumbles in the lower midriff and I was nearly sick when I woke up this morning (Haven't felt like that since month three, so I think it may be a warning).
I had that just before I went into labour with DD...I think it was a couple of days before but I'm not sure. I know I was definitely sick on the day. Good luck!
Morning all. :hello: Couldn't get out of bed this morning, could be something to do with the fact I couldn't wind my brain down last night and at 12.40 I was still reading :rolleyes:
So far I have made our bed, made OH's lunch (:rolleyes: Why he can't make it the night before I don't know, and he doesn't usually want me to make it) and "done" breakfast for me and DD. I'm just about to head upstairs to wash my hair and encourage DD to shift herself so she can play on some games. 2 loads of washing to do today as I've decided to wash OH's dressing gown so will put that in when I've done DD's hair. Rest of the day is ebaying :eek: Right, time to wash my hair :wave:

:hello: Morning!
I have a lovely clean and spacious bedroom, unfortunately I can't get into the spare room as it is now full of books, craft stuff and clothing that I cleared from our room!:rolleyes:
I am very achy today so pleased with todays list as OH got a new computer (2nd hand new) at the weekend and spent a lot of time sorting and tidying the study area. So I won't need to do that. Just the bathroom then and those dreaded shower doors :eek:
Need another :coffee: before i start!

Take it easy maralum. It sounds like it was a petty row, but you are probably both on edge cos of the impending birth. You know how men get.
He's probably feeling awful now.
Hope you have a good day, and that goes for everyone else too!!
Michelle, x0 -

You're quite right! I rang DH this morning at work and although at first he did the usual "It's your fault because I'm a man and feeling guilty makes me want to blame someone else" thing :rolleyes: , he admitted thet he felt dreadful about the whole thing. I finally got a real apology from him and now feel much better. I just couldn't let it go on with me so near my due date. I don't want this poor wee lassy to be born in the middle of an argument!
Thanks to Shell, nicki and AnW's mum also. I think he'll be coming home for lunch today, so hopefully all will be well after 2pm and a hug and a chat.
Big thanks to Shirleypark too. You're an :A .
Good luck with your lists (I would say ladies, but I think I spotted a flyboy in an earlier post, so I'll have to watch the level of man-bashing from now on!) and remember, if it doesn't get done, no biggie. Tomorrow's another day and the world will still need cleaning!0 -
Morning lovelies :hello:
maralum (((((((hugs)))))) I know how you feel, my OH went into 'not speaking to me' mode when I was 3 weeks from my due date, it was new year also and I had to spend the night upstairs seeing the new year in with my kids on the portable, I sobbed all night. He's one of these that doesn't apologise though cause he's an arrogant **** :mad: ....really don't know why I let him still come round really..........
ANYWAY:
Didn't get to sleep last night till gone 1.30 I know why, it's all the flippin sleep I had yesterday :rolleyes: Sat sorting out my paperwork for 20 mins though AND did the bathroom so no need to do that today :j No study (pc in master bedroom) so that's off my list too :j I'm gonna get stuck into littleys room instead as it's probs gonna take two days to get it finished and as it's usually kids rooms tomorrow I'll be able to clean it then.
* S&S kitchen
* empty DW
* hoover through
* clear littleys room ready for cleaning tomorrow
* Do stairs/landing
* Trip to Asda cashpoint
* rubbish in bin outside
* WM (whatever I find in littleys room)
* pre-prepare tea
* master bedroom (didn't do yesterday)
My mind's gone blank.....can't think of owt else....
Brew first though...:D
Happy flying ladies x0 -
Good news maralum. I know DH got really petty and ratty near my due date. Just because he was worried about me and did not know how to handle it - clue not shouting at me for no reason would be a good start:rolleyes: MEN!!!!
I think when you give him your shopping list for those last few items you needed you should add some luxury bubble bath for after the birth. Body Shop do some nice ones that are safe (not stingy:eek: ) to use after said event. That and some nice body lotion.
All this baby stuff is very scary - I think we forget that our chaps worry about "doing" this to us.0 -
It's hot.. It's sunny.. and I'll be damned if I am staying in to slave over a hot microfibre cloth.. the muck will still be there tomorrow.. we are off to the park.. anyone coming???
(I am actually hoping it will wear her out so I can get her down for a nap this afternoon and get the cleaning done then!)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
