I bet it's the hormones! If it's not the hormones, then blame it on them anyway. You can milk it (no pun intended) as much as possible really until you finish breastfeeding then you can get away with being a raving looney at least once a month still for a week or so forever more...well till the change and perhaps they call it that because we turn nice
(dfw waiting for the change to be nice!)

Lol, I wanted to blame it on the hormones but my sister said it wasn't.
However, doctors called me today to tell me that the bloodtest they took was wrong! How can they do a bloodtest wrong?!?! OMG! Then I started to panic as I know I'm feeling hypothyroid and need to up the meds. So I got the doctor to call me back. Turns out I definitely have symptoms as I'm now sat under my duvet feeling shattered and absolutely freezing cold. I'm going to have to stop reading the interwebs as well as they are starting to make me really worried. Apparently the mothers thyroid hormones are essential in the first 2 trimesters and if mine are out of whack then it can impact on the babe and affect it's neuro functionsor whatever that means.
Anyway, doctor referring me to the endocrinologist in Cardiff as circs have now changed and they need maternity & endo to be communicating with each other.
Right, best go explain to the OH why I feel like I'm freezing cold.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

oh blimey stop searching google and get some rest! I remember having awful headaches once, by the time google had finished with me I had self-diagnosed a brain tumour with 24 hours to live. Perhaps best to ask the professionals (i.e the ones who know how to do a proper blood test )
Will you get a referral pretty quickly? I hope so as a worried mummy to be is never a good thing xxxMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Have babbled and sobbed to the OH. He's reassured me that the baby will be fine and if I feel icky to just increase my dose a bit more.
yes I think I will be referred quickly, they referred me to ENT quickly when they thought there was something wrong with my glands. I did have a big long chat to the doctor on the phone and I trust her more than the locum. She's getting lots of tests done on my bloods when I go back in on Thursday. I don't normally patch myself out with google, so I read several articles first about the affects to low a dose can have
I do feel better now knowing that I can tell the doctor I'm increasing the dosage
Moneywise... today bought 2x butter, 3x cadburys choc bar for 50p, tube pringles, newspaper for painting on, takeaway chinese food (naughty).
OH is making me watch tv with him in the spare room complete with cats, radiator on and under the duvetDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Ok its like this....stop the internet googling, it will do you know good, freak you out, put potential worries that really aren't there in your head anyway and make you stressed out and poorly and you don't need that. So the googlings not allowed please !!
As far as the row with Oh goes and the needing to be out of debt for two years etc etc, I can honestly say, and I am sure there are many that vouch for me here ( well they had better !) in that there is never a right time to have a baby. Something will always crop up , or there will always be reason not to, not enough money , job not quite right, debt etc etc. If it happens it happens and you will muddle through and in some ways it makes it all the more exciting. DD1 came along after Mr PG and I had been officially together for only about a year I think ( if that ) , we had just bought our first house, been there only a few months, my divorce hadn't come through from previous very messy marriage and all in all had we thought about it and planned it given so many factors we would still be thinking about it to this day. Most definitely the best surprise we could ever have had, DD2 was also a surprise but we were married by then !!
Anyway thats my lecture over for today.:D
I can truthfully say I have been walking around today feeling like a proud Virtual Auntie !!! :rotfl::rotfl:

I've come for a nosey from PG's diary too! Congratulations :j
Totally agree with Mrs PG, there is never a right time as far as money = baby is concerned. Even if there was you never know what's round the corner (like my DH's accident!). And I also agree with everyone else, google when you are freaking only makes the freaking worse!!
Take care of yourself XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thank you ladies
Feeling less freaked out today, but I am glad I know the consequences so I can shout at the professionals if I need to. I once had a massive argument with my GP because they wanted to reduce my dose from what my consultant had told me. Needless to say I won and he went away with a fly in his ear.
Nausea has most definitely kicked in, and it's not fun. So I guess I now have hormones that make me irrational or tearful AND nausea to enjoy.
Right so money... today is the OH's final exam, yippeee. I'm going to go and meet him afterwards for drinks with his university friends. It looks like quite a few of them are going to end up in the Bath/Bristol area with jobs, so we might know some people when we move anyway. I'm envisioning it being a rather pricey evening, drinks + food, so I might go down there around 7pm. That gives me enough time to go to the bank to get money for the kitty float for the craft fairs this weekend, package up ribbons & buttons for the fair, and paint the cork boards I was meant to paint earlier in the week. Oh and the conference calls I am meant to attend and the day job work I'm supposed to do too
I think I'll take £20 with me this evening, although we can use the joint account money for this I think.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
