So glad you found a friend with so many similarities that's great as being a new mum can be lonely without friends and family (to keep you sane :D)

I am super duper excited, our furniture has arrived and they are assembling it at the moment :DI have a headboard to list on fleabay now as we're getting rid of our black metal one hurrah! Think I'll do a 10 day 99p listing to end on a Sunday, now what day do I need to list on urm...Thursday?
OH is happy because his shelves for the living room arrived yesterday and I finished painting the spare room too. Although now he thinks it looks like a hospital waiting room grrr! It's mint green/blue and I really like it, it's almost so pale it's cream. Men!
Have just checked out my finances and I'm now below the £3031 I wanted to save this month :( but I'm owed over £400 in expenses (which is where the extra pennies have gone). I feel I've been very good with my pennies this month if I'm honest with myself. There's been a few frivolous spends (the watch for example!) and a few spends for xmas pressies (propagator & light). But they're going to / are giving me joy...I'm loving watching the little plants grow and OH is going to love receiving his watch even if he has tried to take a sneak peak naughty naughty!

I've been super good this morning and listed some more ribbons on fleabay. I think I've almost listed all of them now, fingers crossed. I'll have to check through to make sure. Still need to sort the dining room out as it's still got boxes over the floor, tsk tsk! Task for this afternoon, although I feel I may need a nap first. Hurry up plant pots I want to paint you in chalkboard paint and repot my baby plants!

I've just painted 50 plant pots with blackboard paint :D I was especially careful not to paint the rim of the pot so they have a lovely brown rim :D In any other context that would sound especially rude! Now I just need to get the bag of compost out of the shed and pot up the little lovies that are outgrowing their peat disks. I'm a tad worried they might get cold though, so have ordered a heat mat. So far I've spent £70 on propagator, heat mat and light, plus £6 on pots. Given that we're giving them as presents to at least 10 different people that works out at about £7 each AND I get to keep the bits for next year too :D ooh and we get to have our own yummy growing things too, winner winner. OH has set it all up in the spare bedroom and keeps laughing about how it looks like I'm growing naughty plants pfft.

Had a refresher hypnobirthing session this morning, it went really well and I'm really impressed how quickly I can relax now compared to previously. I really need to find out the name of the album though so we can practice with the music on in the background too.

Took OH out for lunch, it was just going to be coffee but I was hungry so had an amazing hot dog and chips from a cafe up near his work. He was well chuffed that I'd met him after hypnobirthing and even more chuffed when I said I'd buy him lunch :)

I'm in Cardiff tomorrow, last time in the office before mat leave and I cannot wait. I am loathing work at the moment, all I want to do is sleep or potter around the house and everything is becoming one massive chore. Oh well, just a week to go now :)

Cats have decided it's too cold to do anything but go under the covers. Chloe has long known how to get under the covers, Leo likes to scratch all around the bed looking confused then either sleeps on the end of the bed or I pick him up and shove him under. Still refusing to put the heating on unless we need it in the evening, but it is starting to get quite cold now.

Right, I am off to the garden shed to find some compost so I can pot out these little plants. Then I need to find the timer for the grow lights which I think I know where it is already so that'll be easy. Oh and I need to find the chalkboard pens so I can write on the pots what the plants are :)

I may find some energy later to peel the shallots for the pickled onions...we shall see though.

  • The pots sound great, I'm a bit hit and miss with growing things x

The next week will fly by and hope you then get enough time to have a proper rest before baby arrives.

Take it easy tomorrow on your work day, hope it goes well.

  • You exhausted me with you post yesterday Kerri, how did you cram all that in ?

ML soon for you, and I bet you still rush around like a crazy person ! I wrote a double sided A4 list when I went on ML with DD1. It included everything I felt I should get done before she was born. Needless to say, with only two weeks before she arrived, it didn't happen. I dug it out and added to it before DD2 arrived, and yet again I didn't complete the list. I think I still have it somewhere and I can bet that nearly 13 years since DD2 was born I still haven't found the time to do half of the things on it !! :rotfl:

Have a good day Kerri xx

Aw sorry Mrs P, I've had a slower day today :) Was my last day in the office yesterday, I've got 3 more days working from home then I'm officially on holiday until the 31st December when Mat Leave starts :)

OH's Dad is coming to visit imminently eep! I'm still in PJs and still need to do stuff round the house. I'm going to make a big veggie curry for tea so need to get on and start that. I also need to make the vinegar for the pickled onions.

I've just sown another 15 seeds as I've worked out I need about 7  sets to have enough for xmas presents. I might end up giving family a set of 6 instead of a set of 12 and OH's friends 1 each, but we shall see. The chives aren't germinating :( I have no idea what their problem is. Maybe I'll try the sprouter out on them, I own one of those and have never ever used it. Don't think I even know how.

Hoping for a cheapo weekend, nothing really planned other than breastfeeding class tomorrow. Probably go for a walk with OH and his Dad somewhere which will be nice. Ooh and I have massively expanded this week look at this photo: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1476557_10151857960314755_1373278572_n.jpg love those pjs

  • Have a lovely weekend with the FIL and OH :) Your bump is looking lovely and compact :D I bet you can't wait for holidays to start! I remember feeling lethargic all the way through my last 2 pregnancies and I just wanted to sleep for England! I had a list like that Mrs PG, by the third pregnancy it had been ripped up and thrown away because I knew I'd never do it lol :p

Omg OHs dad does not shut up!!! We went into the city today and he didn't stop, not even when eating which to be honest is quite disgusting to watch. I had to seal myself away upstairs for an hour when we got back for some silence. Although that led to me being annoyed with the mould under the window. So off I went back downstairs to get 4ltr water, 1/2 cup vinegar and 1tbsp bicarb in a bowl and washed the wall. Then ended up getting paranoid about spores so had a shower. Then remembered I had to spray tea tree oil for the second stage, so put 1/4 tsp in a sprayer of water and sprayed the entire wall. Except now the bedroom reeks of tea tree so I've been forced back downstairs to be bombarded with talking, eugh. Thankfully oh has put on a programme about a comet so they're both now *hopefully* sat in silence.

Just having a think, before LVM I'd never have even thought about natural methods for mould removal and gone to the shop for loads of chemicals. Amazing how my thinking has changed as I'll now google for homemade solutions instead.
Spends this weekend were £12 on veg yesterday for a roast we didn't make today as OHs dad took us out for lunch. £8ish for contact lense solution. I think that's it :)
