Hi :) can I join please. We are aiming to be debt free not including the mortgage by the start of 2015.

We are going to put all spare money into paying off the credit cards in order listed on my signature. I am currently on unpaid part of my maternity leave until feb 13 so we won't be able to start properly paying off extra money until March when I am back at work.

Our target is to clear CC1 by May, CC2 by Aug, CC3 by Nov, then have a break for xmas, CC4 by Mar, CC5 by Apr, CC6 by July 2014??

We have bought a breadmaker and have started making our own bread which is much cheaper and tastier. Food is one of our biggest expenses so this is an area which we want to cut back on :D

Can anyone tell me how I get a line through my amounts in my signature once they have started reducing thanks :)

    Hi sungiggs1
    welcome to the thread
have fun with bread machine we brought one a couple of years ago have not gone back to sliced bread since a couple of tips or suggestions

    1. try and bake at least 1 day before use it makes slicing better.unless straight out the breadmaker(yum):D

    2. watch the weights of the bags of the pre mixed stuff at it does vary.

    3. best normal white loaf mix has to be tescos own have tried others ie morrisons, asda and sainsbury.

  • i had that same problem the same day starting a new job i went sick with a serve kidney infection which took 2 weeks to clear enough for me to return to work at first the doc was quite concerned as i had blood poisoning . although i called in a spoke to the bosses each day and i also followed their sick procedures they still wanted to give me a verbal warning which i disputed and won only just. the job only lasted 2 months before the made me redundant.

    Jeez that is a nightmare!

Well I am now finished work until 7th January - yippeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Might even manage to get a couple of NSDs in there if I stay in & watch DVD's.

  • Hi guys long time lurker first time poster. I'd like to be in! I have been doing loads of thinking and working out over Xmas and I'm in a bad place financially I would love to me debt free by 2015.

I'm just coming to terms with how much I owe but it currently looks like

£20, 000.00 CC split over four cards.
    £50,000.00 Family loads (0% interest).

with a high maintenance wife and three girls it's gonna be a challenge.
