Can I join too please? I'm 34 with 2 boys aged 8 and almost 3 and a DH who, thanks to an accident 18 months ago, is on Disability Living Allowance. The accident brought about an enforced LBM and at that point our debt free date was 2023 . I re-did the snowball calculator a few days ago and I've managed to reduce this to the end of 2015 :T. I'd like to go on this journey with everyone to make sure this remains the case!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

This is the first time i've took our "family" debts for real. Before we was living on cloud nine...Money was like water, Start the tap and use the flow. Now, The REAL world has come along and bit us on the backside. Atm, Between my OH & I (I'm 25, He's 26) we're in £10k (roughly) worth of debt. Some being more urgent then others. So with support of like minded people i feel i'm able to kick these debts into shape!!x
I was the same not really bothering about where the money was coming from as long as I could spend it!!
Not anymore though.

Well day one and I've signed my daughter up for a junior ISA that I have been meaning to do for a while via quidco so that's £30 cashback if it tracks for depositing £30. As soon as I get my cash back I will transfer it to my place of work in a cash based ISA as this is a stocks and shares one.
I've also joined the survey site 'valued opinions' and earned £1 so far for 10 minutes work. I'm hoping to save them up for Amazon vouchers for birthdays and Xmas. Does anyone know of any other survey sites where you get regular surveys to complete0 -

Excellent work!!
Must have a look on quidco & topcashback before I go spending on anything that I NEED!!
You gov aswell - I get these emails all the time & just ignore them I am definately going to start them again - get some vouchers towards next years Christmas shopping :money:

I've read on here that youGov is a minimum withdrawal amount of £50 and they rarely give out surveys so its really hard to earn anything. I shall keep scouting for a decent site. If you sign up to some of the survey sites, there's quidco as well, only £1.75 but not bad for something you were doing already x0

Yeah actually now I know why I stopped it in the first place LOL
Oh well will mayeb just need to do some OT if its available in work

I do Valued Opinions, Toluna, Pinecone research (though you have to be accepted to join) and swagbucks. All of which are worth doing and get decent returns.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I just lose patience really quickly.
I can earn vouchers in work by just selling additional products on so think I will make more of an effort doing that & see how I get on.
I am off to bed - night people.

Ok so got paid early so thought I would get this ball rolling & pay of my CC's.
Paid £109 to one & £283 to the other!
Other payments will be due out by DD at the beginning of January 2013 so will give a monthly update once all the payments are out.
