It's simpler than that.
I don't do Christmas (or indeed any other celebrations) period.0 -
Good afternoon/evening,
Bought the taps with the gift card thing, whilst I was in B&Q I tried to look for a hose to fit the shower/bath tap thingy and couldn't so went to the nearest bathroom hardware shop and picked one up for £8.00.
Went from there to Boots and got DH his NicAssist gum, I will look online and see if they will do a bulk buy and see if that saves me any money and I got some shampoo too..£20 spent there.
When I eventually got home, I went round to Tesco to get something to eat on my way to work and got to the till and the machine ended up blocking my card!!! Went to work hungry! Finished work, went to the bank, unlocked card, drew £10 out and bought a cake from Coughlans...£1.
Personal spends this week so far =£2.50 out of £20.
Cleaning day tomorrow (hopefully) as I had to put the lady off; the other lady I thought we'd agreed on this Friday actually turns out we agreed after Christmas...still I might finally get to sort the kids presents out!
Need to pay for Park this week as my mum has paid me and I need to pay mine, so £10 there for me...I don't count this as personal spends, may be I should, this all goes towards Christmas 2013 as I have bought presents.0 -

Chance would be a fine thing...I work in a school kitchen :rotfl: I only do 2 hours a day and usually there is some food left over, which there was today
I normally try and eat before I leave for work, but didn't have time to get something out of the fridge and had to do the School Carol Service thing at the church after work, hence the Coughlan's cake0 -

Also have a look at E*bay as you often find people selling stuff off.

Could try Ebay, never thought of that for the stuff.
No he's not on any program, it's his crutch so to speak.
The only one the Dtr will do is Nicorette, which DH is allergic to *rolls eyes* There's something in it that messes him up and triggers off his asthma.
At least if he has the Boot's gum, I'm getting the points lol0 -
I find it so annoying that the things that are meant to help you give up are nearly as expensive as the cigarettes . It does'nt give people much of an incentive.0

Yup but the Drs should still be running some sort of support group / be able to refer to such a group and there shouldbe several options (eg I'm allergic to plaster so the patches were useless for me) .... and there's always the cold turkey method!:D
Purple I take it he has cut down & isn't now smoking just as much and using the gum too?Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

He doesn't smoke at all now, just uses the gum. He has done this before and although he won't give up the gum, he will use less of it and use normal gum inbetween. I know that if he totally gave up the gum he'd be back to cigarettes within an hour, so I'm happy to get it for him.0
