Total targets of all of them together is £500  Might be a bit too high but I'm not going back on it now...will be interesting to see how much I end up saving by the end of next year.
Thanks for the 50p thread link .... have joined!:D I'm sure I wondered why there wasn't one before!
I'm now saving 50p, 20p and £2 ...... not a lot of change going to be left in the purse to be able to use!
Hope you're feeling a bit better and that the play goes well ...... ahhhh to DD being a donkey (they're one of my favourite animals and I had 2 for 20+ years- I was young when I got them!)

Evening diary, posters and lurkers
A bit of a late one for me tonight...its been busy here!
It's been quite a good night tonight, I've wrapped some presents with the help of DD even though I didn't want any help...Hope DS doesn't feel left out as he'd asked and I said no...DD sort of rather just helped regardless of whether I wanted her to or not! lol
DH is out with site again tonight, they're taking the Client out...cue messy night! He reckons he'll be home early....I doubt it! lol
Have checked all the pots bar the demi-john and I've updated my signature accordingly. I'm clinging on to the 20p's, I know I said I'd bank them but I'm not in any rush so will put them on the Budget Card next week.
Managed to go see DD in her play yesterday...she neglected to tell us that she had one of the main parts in the play...she told me that she got to help put things on the stage....what she actually did was put things on the stage and was on the stage all throughout the play and said her lines and sang with such clarity...she's definitely not the quiet girl she was when she started it's good to see that the months of speach therapy she had in Reception/YR1 has paid off. DH and I were sooo proud of her.
Photo's will get posted to FB once I've uploaded them
Haven't sold anything else recently. I think I will leave it until after Christmas and see what I can flog then lol
DH has asked me to go through the finances and find out where the spare money that we should have, goes to, that we end up this close to payday worrying. This I'm prepared to do but hesitant; I have a feeling where it goes but unsure of why I feel hesitant? My gut feeling is that it is Tesco shops, NicAssist gum and alcohol but no doubt other bits will come to light that I won't like. I can't and won't ask DH to do a spending diary, he's too busy to do this and he is doing enough worrying and insomnia for the both of us.
I have another cleaning jobthe lady I used to clean for definitely wants me back, so that helps...I would like one more and then I'll be happy...probably won't...will probably want one more after that lol
Went cleaning today and used the money to get a top up shop from Tesco's...got kids bits for their lunch tomorrow, something for dinner for me tonight and my lovely £2.99 wine.0 -

DH has gone in to work this morning...no hangover just very tired.
He had a lot of change on the side in the kitchen, so £2 was squirrelled away in to my demi-john and when I came home after the school run he'd left me £1.80 in 20p's and 11p in change, these have gone into their respecive pots.
Waiting for the shopping to arrive, its a mixture of Christmas shop and usual monthly shop. I can then go to Tesco's and get the meat for the month.
I've filled up my car with petrol and put the amount in my spending app. I tend to use £100 per month but going to reduce it to £80 if possible; I can't realistically go lower than that but will keep a close eye on it.
Treating the kids today and taking them to the Christmas Fayre at the school I work at. They always get a treat when DH gets paid and this is it this month...I still plan for it to be a low spend day...maximum is £30.
Credit cards have been paid...I've overpaid by enough to round the minimum figure up. Total paid off both is £110. Not going to update the total figure owed until I see a dent in it and see it going down.
No bonus for DH, as far as I could tell from his salaryso hoping that he'll get a nice payrise instead. DH thinks that we're totally screwed now (his words not mine), he doesn't realise that I have plans in place now to make things easier.
DH has asked me to pick him up some NicAssist gum today, so after work I'll go to the next town and go to Boots and Tesco and use one lot of petrol instead of two.
Need to put some money away for the older nieces/nephews for Christmas too.0 -
PMO2 - just wondering, have you done an up to date SOA recently?
Might be worth re-doing if not as it can change pretty drastically in short periods of time.
Ohhhh - can DH not get the Gum on prescription?
If so & you got a pre-paid certificate, it should be a lot cheaper. HTHGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Haven't done one for a long time.
It's not so much what is going out bill wise as we're fairly tight on that, just a few things need changing which are in my plan; it's more why the extra money we have keeps evaporating lol0 -
Morning PMO2,
Glad I found your diary, I have subscribed.:j.
It sounds like its really dangerous living so close to Mr T's. My nearest shop is over 2 miles away and thats only a village store so its alot easier on me to manage NSD's.
I wonder if you could bulk buy hubbys Nic-assist gum online. Sometimes it can be cheaper. Or buy it from boots online and then you get the points.
Other than the extra Mr T shops and the nic-assist it sounds like you are doing great.
Will follow your journey xxx0 -
Good morning and Happy Saturday.
I've been to the climbing centre and sorted out the invoice we received, so that's done.
DH has taken DS to his climbing club at the other centre.
Changed DD's bed, DS's bed was done last night...second load in the washer and first load in the TD.
Washing up to be done next.
Need to feed kids and take DD to her Pantomine with the Rainbows & Brownies...she's so excited!!!
Online banking checked and spreadsheet updated.
Dining room curtain pole has fallen down, so DH will sort later.
Had an interesting time with Tesco yesterday. First they were late delivering...rang up and got my delivery refunded (£5.50) and then the driver missed one lot of my frozen stuff and had to come back.
I need to go through the presents and figure out what I've bought the kids and make a note.
We're going to see SiL #2 tomorrow and other SiL and MiL will be there as well as neices and nephews so need to check that I have all their presents done too.0
