It's DH's pay day today :j

Both credit card bills have been paid, I have paid the extra that I made on e-bay off the VC, I think DH wanted it off the BC but I'm desperate to get rid of the VC

The VC now stands at £482.86, the BC however is £6639.46

Depending on how things go this month, I will try and pay off some extra off the BC.

I get paid on the 30th and I'm expecting a bit of OT, so I may use some of this off the BC but will see.

My aim (I was going to say plan, but that never works for me) is to get through this month intact!

I need plenty of AFD's and NSD's and only I can do it.

Planning on taking the kids up to see my mum during half term, only going to go for a few days but will be a change for them.

Right, off to get motivated; got lots to do today

What a week and a busy one at that!

Managed one AFD this week due to things going on. Can't say too much yet due to various factors but I'm glad it's over with. and will update properly in a few weeks once things have settled down.

My boss is still off sick and will be back after half term, judging by how she sounds its better off that she has this time to recover...more OT for me. My Line Manager has notified me of another Catering Assistant job local to home and has urged me to apply (if I'm interested), so I said I'd have a look and let her know.

Due to being busy, I've not had chance to get any housework or the food ordered so housework has been done today and the food will get done at some point over the weekend.

I need to dye my hair too but not had chance today.

Waiting for DH's expenses to come in, that should arrive on Monday and Pay Day for me is on Thursday

Got the renewal through for the home insurance and the cheapest quote I could get was £5 more than we're paying per month this time around, so will hold off on that one this time and just hope that nothing goes wrong!

Had the electricty bill through with the new suppliers, just waiting on the gas one..as it is the Winter one I expect it to be high this time.

Will try again next week with the AFD's and NSD's and see how many I can get; my own personal challenge I think!

Got some deals on DD's school summer dresses and DS is desperate for a Arsenal Football kit so I'm on the hunt for a second hand one for him.

Got a few things to sell, just need some time to get it all photographed and uploaded on to FB. That's one downside about all the OT I've been doing recently

Have arranged with my mum to go and visit her with the kids during half term, so apart from petrol it should be a cheap affair plus going to have cuddles with my friends baby

Woo hoo count down time now until Half Term

Have checked and the job hasn't been advertised yet, so will check later on today, talking to DH it will be much needed extra money in the short term.

Aiming for plenty of NSD and AFD this week, I do like waking up without the groggy feeling. Next week will be different when I go see my mum but will aim to keep things under control.

Busy old week this week with more OT to keep me going.

Pay day this Thursday too, some OT in this month's pay and the rest of it next month.

Managed to dye my hair yesterday so I no longer look like an old hag.

Food order done at last and will be delivered on Friday. I need to nip to Tesco's today to get some bits but that should last us.

Today should be NSD number 1 and AFD number 2 but will update later.

So don't need any stress this week, last week was enough.

I'm back and hopefully it'll be for a bit longer than what has been happening recently.

Okay...Job Wise - The lady that applied for the Catering Assistant job had the job offer withdrawn due to inconsistencies (sp?) in her paperwork....which means that I got the job instead :jIt's on an overtime basis and is much needed money wise with or without the overtime.

Debt wise - Going up! No surprise there I guess and we're trying to grab a firm hold of it but it doesn't appear to be working.

DH - Was put on Notice last week, the site he's on has come to an end and as such the managers were told that they'd be made redundant :eek:.....HOWEVER! Not all is lost, his line manager spoke to the MD and pleaded his case and made it known that he wants to keep DH and he's been moved to another project, so chances are that this will fizzle out to nothing.

Car - Still haven't had my car serviced and chances are that it will go another year without it being done (sigh!) To cap it all, my battery died and I needed a new one...not bad I guess since the old battery was the original one and the car is 9 years old.

It is less than two weeks until DH gets paid again and we've Father's Day in between all that.

Things that I have done

I have uploaded lots on to Amazon and FB and sold two books already, hoping that something will sell from FB.

Walking to school and back hasn't happened recently due to all the OT at work, however this should be back to normal by tomorrow.

Things to be done

Meal plan to sort for the rest of this 'month' and plan for next month.

Get back in to the NSD's and AFD's...again!

Focus more on what I'm doing rather than just slipping back in to old ways...Control, control, control!!!

Good morning,

Walked to and from school yesterday with the kids and planning to do the same today. I am trying to only use the petrol in the car for work.

I need to nip to Tesco's today to get some food bits that we need, this will then help with the menu plan for next week.

Sold a few books on Amazon and one needs posting today. Due a payout tomorrow. Really hoping a lot more sells but will plod on and see how it goes. DH is going to go through his novelty ties so that I can sell them too, someone somewhere will buy them I hope.

Aiming for a NSD today and I've given myself a good talking too with regard to the current situation and will improve things next month.

Right off to get sorted, have a good day x
