Afternoon Purplemumof2
You are doing really well with the NSD's, keep it up!
We are at that lull in the month when all the payments are in and most of them are out, just trying to find other ways to bring in some extra cash  Well done on the book sales as well, woop!

Morning diary,
Well what a very busy few days this week has turned out to beI went for my interview yesterday and although I'm not too confident that I will get it, we'll see; I should hear next week
Not only that but...the insurance place that I had the interview with last year who I never heard anymore from, well I got an email from him yesterday and it appears that they've been having problems and lost two clients and therefore he is restructuring and is after a technical admin person and would I be interested; I have an interview/appointment with him the Monday after half term at 9.30am to discuss it further
Oh my! I've never been in this position before.
No more NSD's acheived this week (yet) but today might be one.
Spoke to Friday lady and unintentionally upset her (long story!) it's all sorted out now but I will be cleaning for her on Friday and then that is it, she is after someone who can do during the holidays too.
I was supposed to be cleaning for Wednesday lady today but she left me a message to say she forgot to leave me a key and could I come tomorrow instead.
Nothing else to report moneywise.0 -

I can't believe that I have been neglecting my diary so much this week...in my defence it has been a rather stressful week so I'm glad that this has now finished with.
Monday - was ok, nothing much happened there.
Tuesday - was Interview day, it went ok and I may possibly have a job out of it.
Wednesday - I received an email from the MD of the insurance company I had an interview with last year apologising for not getting back to me and I may have chance of a job there.
Wednesday - went cleaning and the lady was there, she said she wanted to catch up with me (Uh oh!) turns out she only wanted to show me how the steam cleaner thingy works
Thursday and Friday - had an arguement of sorts with Friday lady about being put off over the money she owed me.
Friday - turned up at her place, she expected me to clean for her but didn't leave me any money for Friday so I took the money she left as it was what I was owed, left her a note and left. Received a message from her to say thanks for the past cleans and that she has a new cleaner now. No love lost there then.
It is a shame but to be honest she didn't want a cleaner, she wanted a housekeeper based on the amount of stuff that was out and the three days of washing up that was usually there on a Friday morning. Lucky escape I think.
Anyhow, NSD's and diet went out the window last week.
DH got paid yesterday and the shopping arrived. I need to get the meat still but I think we will be ok ONCE I get my meal plan sorted for the month.
Half term next week, lots of things planned and I'm aiming for a LSW. There's plenty of housework that needs doing unfortunately :rotfl:
Need to work out the Pro's and Con's of both jobs that I've applied for incase I'm offered both...never been in that position before; so that's the job for this morning.
Nothing else to report money wise. x
Forgot to add, as DS was sick last week and couldn't go climbing we're getting a refund for that session and DS has expressed a need for a break until after easter so that will save us a bit of money next month0 -

Morning diary,
Wasn't about last week due to half term, was a very spendy week despite my best efforts to avoid doing so.
Have done a check on the credit cards and since my last post the BC has gone up by nearly £500 but the VC has gone down and is now £627.68. Total owed stands at £5489.79
To be honest the BC has only crept up mainly due to late payment charges as they want a payment the day before DH gets paid; it's not ideal but I'm not worrying about that one at the moment as I'm still paying over the minimum each month, I'm trying to get rid of the VC one.
I went for my other interview/meeting yesterday with the insurance place and to cut a long story short, the MD is after an administrator with an insurance background but is unsure if he wants a full time or part time person. I've expressed an interest in whatever he decides as it may save me money in childcare fees if he offers me the part time position as I'd only need childcare during the school holidays.
I still haven't heard back from the other place I had the interview with the week before last but I'm pretty sure that I haven't got that one anyway.
Yesterday I was based in the kitchen at my kids school, which was surreal lol but I got OT for it, so that helps a bit considering the time off I had when DS was poorly.
I've got training again today after work, so that'll help with the OT side of things.
Walked to school with the kids this morning, trying to eak out the petrol as long as possible. DS has football club after school so will be using my car then but aiming to walk tomorrow so(unless I'm asked to work somewhere else) I won't be using my car at all.
Have counted up my change and updated my sig accordingly and have managed to sell some more bits on FB
Need to get back in to the routine of Flylady as the house is a mess again and need to get some meal planning done.
On the NSD front, I doubt I'll hit my target again but with todays NSD's I'm up to 8 so I might possibly get close.
Things due to be paid - DS's Wednesday lunches at school, Park Hamper and I owe my friend some money for some Mother's Day cards she's made for me.
Cleaning has been moved from Wednesday to Thursday now, which to be honest doesn't bother me either way and I'm at the school Quiz night on Friday night and then we hit March running.
Gas and Electric have now been signed over to M&S Energy, so hoping I've made the right choice and we will see a difference in the bills on the upside they've sent me £30 in M&S vouchers which have been squirrelled away to be used as presents
Nothing much else to report at the moment on the money side of things.
Back later x0 -
hi purple. soudns like you're doing ok. shame about the BC but least you're getting some ot and selling some bits.

Good morning,
It's such a good feeling, getting back in to a routine again. As much as I love my children, I'm glad that they're back at school again.
Uploaded something on FB last night and it was sold within minutesonly £5 but helps to go towards one of the people I need to pay before payday.
Walking to school this morning with the kids and hopefully back again this afternoon. My friend thought I was mad walking to the school Monday afternoon as it was raining here; I said that it was only drizzle and to be fair it hadn't started raining when I set off.
I won't reach my NSD target for this month but I will be close. I have signed up for March's challenge and have also pledged to aim for at least one 3 in a row!
Still haven't heard from either of the companies regarding the jobs, the MD really only has a few days left if he wants to offer me anything; DH is unsure of me working for him and believes that it isn't going to work out.
Have checked online banking and so far it seems to have caught up with everything that's gone out, I'm expecting DH's expenses to be paid in tomorrow (hopefully) so that'll cover the DD's that will come out on Friday.
Right better get motivated I guess. Laters x0 -
Morning diary,
Thursdayone step closer to the weekend :j
Cleaning today, so £18 there to come and buyer is coming tonight for item I sold so £5 there too.
DH's expenses and my salary have been paid in, so at least until tomorrow the account doesn't look too bad lol
Wasn't a NSD yesterday but today will be, making a total of 9 achieved this month.
Received the final gas/electric bill yesterday so this will get paid when DH gets paid.
Hoping that I will hear from the MD of the company today but somehow I doubt it, but will update once I do hear
Right off to get motivated, I need a shower and get the packed lunches done. x0
