Have just checked the banking and updated the spreadsheet and we aren't going to get through the month!!! I'm going to have to transfer some money over from the savings :mad::mad:
Two steps forward and a million back!
At least all the DD's have gone out so all the bills are paid.
We ordered a pizza last night as one Domino's had a 50% off offer and two I couldn't be bothered to cook...that doesn't help my diet either!
Stupid Girl
We had dominos too as my diet restarts today. Got 6 months to go before I'm 40 but I have so much to lose. Just going to take it 1 week at a time. Need to work out where I can include some exercise. Went through topcashback for the dominos and got £10 cash back as wellthanks to tips from this site I am definitely saving money. Can't wait for dh wages to go back to normal so I can pay more off the debts, but at least I know now that we can live off less so I won't need to touch the extra, it can straight to debt overpayments.
Good luck sticking to your diet over the weekend xNumber of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0 -
Morning,
Sunday todaywasn't a good day for me yesterday, had a melt down again and got drunk as a result.
But that was yesterday and today is a whole new day
We're having a roast dinner today, so I need to get that sorted.
Usual housework type stuff to be done too and the kids sandwiches to be made for tomorrow.
Have sorted out what I need to do next week and I need to try and get my hair cut so I'm ready for my interview the following Tuesday.
Have added some change to the relevant pots and I'm resisting touching them.
Have a good day x0 -
Morning PMO2
Well done for getting the Interview :j. Fab news.
How come you had a meltdown hun? I understand the getting drunk bit, I feel like doing that most days.
I can't remember off hand if you already work at the moment?. If you get the new job will that bring in alot more to your income?. Would be amazing to get the debts paid even quicker.
Shame you won't make it through the month on the money. I have a similar problem. My OD came down to -£1100 at the end of Jan, but the end of Feb it goes back up by £500:(. Have set myself a personal challenge to try to make that money somehow on #bay etc. Could you maybe do something similar?.
Hope your having a lovely Sunday xxx0 -
I had the meltdown because I was angry that my plan didn't work.
If I get this job, it'll be more money than what I'm on now and theoretically should help clear the debt quicker. The downside is that most of my salary would go on Childcare though.
Sunday is going good so far but old hassle from a few years ago has reared it's ugly head so very mixed emotions at the moment.0 -
Hi purple sorry I'm not around as much just now .... I am reading!
Think you need a wee (((huggle))) ...... everything's one step forward & a million back for me too so ... you're not alone!

2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
Yippeeee!!! It's Wednesday :j
Haven't logged on for the past two days for various reasons; the 'situation' that seems to rear its ugly head might have sorted itself out. Having discussed it with a friend, I know what has been said and how to correct certain people. Why don't people just come to the person involved rather than listening to others???
The second thing is DS was poorly over night and ended up not going to school yesterday. I think it was only a 24 hour thing as he was back to normal most of yesterday.
Money wise...the CB has been paid in, which is a bit of a relief. We just need to try and make what is in there last then I don't have to transfer any money over.
One good thing about DS being off sick yesterday is that I managed to dye my hair, that and I photographed and uploaded some bits to FB. Within a matter of minutes I'd sold some bits to a woman at the school so I have £4.50 coming today
Cleaning day today, so £18 coming too. I've not mentioned to the other lady about cleaning for her again next week...I'm unsure wether to or wait and see if she askes me first, she still owes me money and I would rather it died than chase her again for it.
I have resisted spending any of my personal spends for the week so far and have managed to clock up 2 NSD's so far this week. I anticipate today will be one too.
I'm having my hair cut by a friend of mine tomorrow morning so £10 of my budget will go on that.
I need to nip to Tesco's today as I need some bits but aim to keep it as low as possible.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Good morning,
One step closer to FridayAlways a good thing to me.
Checked online banking and so far, so good. I may not need to transfer anything over after all, but will see what next week brings.
My lovely friend is cutting my hair today, which will be nice. I hate going to the hairdressers so it will be nice to be pampered a bit.
Uploaded some more bits to FB this morning, could do with some more bits selling TBH.
Washer appears to be on the blink...it came up with clean pump yesterday which DH did, despite me saying I'd do it this afternoon and it still came up with clean pump. Was rather funny as he had a rant about the fact that the washer was full of water and that it had gone all over the floor....of course it would be full of water...MEN!
Anyway not a lot to report moneywise, I managed to save some shrapnel yesterday and finally got a £2 coin.
Yesterday was a NSD and I'm determined to avoid spending if possible.0 -
Quick update before work time.
Haircut done - it feels much better now its shorter and only cost me £10
Spent £1.60 on a meat and potato pie and a bottle of orange juicenot good but was lovely and warm and I'd been hankering after one for ages. Back to a NSD tomorrow and Friday.
The lady I clean for on a Friday asked me this morning if I could go round hers tomorrow to clean...she was the one that said no cleaning for three weeks start again the week before half term. I've arranged to see my mate and his wife and see if she is any better now tomorrow and as I've not been round due to her being in hospital, I've told the lady I can't do it and to keep as previously arranged. Nothing like short notice is there!!!
Nothing else is due to be spent today (she says!)

Another day off work today...DS was sick again this morning
I think he's got his sisters share lol. Anyhow I'm going to be short in next months pay due to losing 4 hours but I do have some overtime which will help.
Have photographed and uploaded some more stuff to sell on FB and emailed my friend about some reading books I'm selling that her girls might be interested in. My friend has said she's definitely after a fair bit of what I listed along with what has gone on I'm hoping some more will sell.
Heard from Friday lady and we have arranged that I will pick up my money from her after the school run on Monday.
Checked online banking and short of money again as it all caught up, will keep an eye on it and will transfer some over and transfer it back again once DH has been paid if needed.
Nothing much else to report, today will be a NSD so that takes me up to 4 this week, not bad0 -
Good morning,
Had a very productive couple of day despite DS being poorly yesterday.
Have uploaded a lot of stuff on to FB and so far have made £31The kids are going through their books to get rid of the younger ones and the ones they won't read.
DS didn't go to climbing club today but hopefully I'll get a refund next week.
Got through the confirmation from M&S Energy regarding the transfer to them from E:on...we got £20 in vouchers too, so they will get put aside for someone for Christmas/birthday's.
NSD today so am up to number 5 now.
Nothing much else to report moneywise.0
