  • I'm not sure what she is doing, I only clean during term time and when she wants me back is the week before half term so not much point for one week.

Any how, I've looked at the finances and totalled up what needs to come out against what is left in the account to last until DH's pay day and it doesn't look good.

So the cleaning money from first lady will have to keep me going until then, rather than saving it like planned. Once we get this month out of the way we should start to get on an even keel.

Nothing like a slight lack of money to raise the blood pressure!! So this gives me an incentive to try and get some NSD's over the next few weeks AND keeping me organised should help. This is my next challenge over the next few weeks :)

I'm going to have to put my saved shrapnel in to the bank too but at least I have it to use I guess but won't do it until I need to.

    Good morning,

Had a fairly good nights sleep last night, only woke up once.

Had a good day yesterday, got the refund for the climbing club last week although that was a bit of a farce...they spent more time bouldering rather than climbing and I got the feeling that DS's instructor just wasn't interested yesterday. They even finished early!!! I'm tempted to take DS to the other one that's near us, as he's now old enough for their junior club and he'd probably get more out of it. DH thinks may be DS need a break for a while but I'm not sure.

Managed to get some more of my tapestry done, so I'm nearly half way through it, it's going to take me a while until it is finished but I'm going to plod on with it as I have loads of them to do :D

DH has gone to work at the flying club today and judging by the weather he will be there until closing tonight :D

So lots of things to get done today, housework mainly. I'm going to head over to the flylady thread and see what there was for this week...even if I get all of the level 1's done the house will look tidier for it.

Going to get my meal plan done for today, will have a look and see what we have hanging about in the freezer and fridge etc and then decide.

Have told the kids that now the snow appears to have gone, we will walk to school and back as much as possible next week.

    Will update later x
  • Morning Purple,

Well done on getting the climbing wall refund. :j

When you spoke about possibly changing to another climbing wall company. I recently moved my childrens swimming club. The old one had gotten abit boring and by moving it has helped the children learn more as it has been a change up and different teaching style.
This might work for the climbing as well.

Sounds like you have a busy FlyLady week. I have tried to be a FlyLady but think headless chicken woman suits me better :)

    Have a great Sunday x

    Good morning,

Had a fairly good weekend and I'm feeling energised this morning...I think it's the sunshine :D

The upstairs looks quite nice and neat and I finally managed to hoover DS's room for the first time in weeks.

I've checked the online banking and updated the spreadsheet, still doesn't look good but I'm not going to panic over it...if it comes to it DH's travel will have to go on the credit card until he gets paid...but will cross that hurdle when we get to it.

Walking with the kids to school this morning, which I'm going to try and do as much as possible.

Going to avoid spending anything this week, its different if its food needed but personal spending is a no no! Which means that more flyladying should get done :D

    Flylady today looks like this:

Monday Rooms of Doom and Bathrooms
    Level One - Done
    Level Two - Done
    Level Three
Clear out the bathroom cupboard, bin anything yucky and old
Descale the toilet and taps - vinegar!
    Hoover and wash the floors
    Extras
    HHI
    Wipe the bath panel
    Clean a window

That should keep me going for a while at least.

I need to do my meal plan for the week today too and try and get the washing finished.

Right off to get motivated, I want to get the washing up done before we go to school.

Have a good day everyone and I'll update later. x
  • Just a quick update, walked to school with the kids and then used the car to go to lady's house...no surprise she wasn't in  so I have dropped her a message and will see what she says, chances are she thought I meant this afternoon after the school run so we'll see what she comes back with.

I was sooooo tempted to go to Tesco's at that point but I resisted...YAY me! lol

Have had something to eat and now I'm going to make a start on the bathroom, as it's not that messy it shouldn't take me long.

Washing up was done this morning so just a few odds to do.

Washing still to sort out and dinner to get done.

Best get cracking, I'm going to work soon x
  • Morning PMO2

You are on FIRE this morning haha. Good for you.:j

Shame about the woman not being in, but one more chance this afternoon, maybe she did misunderstand. Lets hope so.....

I feel abit bad reading all your fab plans for tidying the house. I have to go out in a minute to run errands and then lunch with a friend. I bet there won't be much day left when I have finished and will have no time for tidying up much.:o

Oh well. I don't get out much so I will try not to guilt trip myself.

Have a fabulously industrious day and speak later xx

  • Well I have been a busy bee today lol

I walked the kids to school this morning and walked back, de-iced the car and drove to lady's house...knocked and rang bell no answer, it appears that she is in hospital with her 6 month old who's poorly...don't know if it is an excuse or not so we'll see.

I don't get the whole flylady thing either to be honest, I mainly use the thread so I can get to grips with the housework :rotfl: I once logged on to the Flylady website and that was enough to scare me

Any how the bathroom looks better for a bit of a clean although I didn't do the floor :o

Washing has been done and put away, I have some bits on the radiators left but they will be put away once they're dry.

Lunches are done for tomorrow and the chicken is out of the freezer ready for dinner tonight.

Oh and plenty of washing up has been done :D

And I did go to Tesco's but I only bought some milk and lunches stuff so today counts as a NSD :j

Nearly forgot to mention, the kids and I walked home from school this afternoon too.
  • Forgot to mention that one of the jobs I applied for has been put through for short listing....I may get an interview :D:D Fingers crossed and all that stuff.
