    All very strange....when I rang last week, I was told the order was cancelled and they would process a refund, but since then I've had emails saying:

    1) Sorry if my account says my order is cancelled, it is not, don't worry.
    2) A despatch email today!!!!
    3) The 50% off personalised items code as others have mentioned because of issues.....

    We'll see.....a bit worrying that others have said they are closed today....not closed due to administrators coming in we hope...this is what annoys me about companies taking payment right away - it should be done only on despatch of goods. Word is that debtors to COMET are getting 1% of what they are owed back so us humble customers wouldn't stand a chance.

  • All three of my candles arrived perfectly, I had no problem with Hallmark, and would use them again.

    You were one of the lucky few.

    Even if I had no problems with my order at all I would still be very wary of shopping with them again having seen the vast majority of people on here have awful experiences with them.

    I was quite lucky in that I received the large candle I ordered, it was only the sampler I didn't get. However it does state the delivery takes 3 days, mine took 10 days to arrive and I never actually knew if it would ever turn up, their communication was awful. Based on this alone I probably wouldn't bother with them again.

    SuperSally, I bet that code is available to ANYONE! LOL.

    My question is, what do I do if my candle DOES now arrive (which would be a bit odd, since they swore they didn't have any!), AND they process my refund.....?

    I'm not sure about your candle/refund Julie but they seem so disorganised you might get both!

    My OH got a different code to me so it looks like they are one use only! Can't see myself using it though.

    I got the email too, yeah right, have 50% off something you don't want...another great deal :p Meanwhile they haven't responded to my email. A company I'll never deal with again, there are too many others out there with half decent CS departments I'd rather put my faith in.

    I ordered 3 candles. I had an email on Monday to say 1 was out of stock and I would be refunded for this. Today, only 1 candle has arrived. There is no mention of the other one and still no sign of a refund. What a shambles! I also had the 50% off email
  • Was told my two orders were cancelled but they both arrived safe and complete today!
    Wont be rushing to use Hallmark again( unless a really good glitch)!
