Yay! :j Thanks girlies, I just bought the first one. It is a bit dark for a [STRIKE]cupboard[/STRIKE] closet, but they haven't reduced the nicer pale blue ones. Selfish people :p I got two rolls for £24 delivered, which is not bad considering one roll is supposed to be £30! (at Debenhams, BTW).

The laminated MDF shelves are coming in at £48 delivered, which is a bit pricey but that's cut to size and delivered from their workshop round the corner. I was really hoping it would cost HALF that but hey ho.

Your lucky friend (well you know what I mean) having his Priory visit paid for Ruby! I always get the impression it's like a very posh spa inside!! It's probably not, but it's not gonna be One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest either is it?!

From the sounds of what he was saying, the part he's staying in is a bit Spa-like. They have a gym and sauna and swimming pool and various classes to take and lots of alternative therapies like massage and aromatherapy. I was a bit jealous in a way!

  • Nice! I can't wait fro my friend to hurry up and have her baby so we can go off for our spa day! Although I'm thinking of treating myself to a hot stone thing on my birthday - has anyone ever had one? Would a normal massage be better?

Well done on the ordering Lara, you've made the right decision!

Good choice Lara! The shelves aren't *that* expensive either, you'd pay more than that for pre-mades from a DIY store. :)

I'm quite liking the sound of the Priory. :) Oooh the celeb spotting would be great! :p

I've never had a hot stone massage Tete, always fancied one though. I haven't had any treats like that since my wedding day! :o

Well I saw Gok Wan on Saturday, he walked right past me chatting on his mobile on the South Bank. My first celeb spot in years!

Cool Lara! I'd have been watching him like a hawk to make sure he wasn't judging how I was dressed if I'd seen him! ;)

Celeb spots are few and far between up here, although nearly everyone has seen at least one Emmerdale 'star' out and about! :)

  • Big Brother 'celebs' round here :o and ex-Byker Grovers if you go a bit further North... Although I'm so unobservant I probably wouldn't notice even Gok Wan walking past me!

I haven't had a proper hot stone massage Tete, but we used to have a massage therapist come into work once a month (yes, remind me why I left that job again?!) and she used some on my feet once when I had reflexology - she'd just got them and wanted to play with them! They were amazing so I would imagine a full massage to be bliss! I do love heat though, I'm never too hot and would happily take a hot water bottle to bed every night of the year. When I came round from my operation they covered me in warm blankets and it was the best thing ever!

Dinah, NIM (and Grace!), that is wonderful news! I got a bit teary at the wedding dance too! :o So pleased for you, not surprised one little bit that you cried, must have been a huge relief. :)

Really quick post as it's nearly 2am and I still haven't packed for the boat trip to Halong Bay I'm going on. Need to be up in 4 hours time :(
