We need to see pictures Lara to help you decide! And we're nosey cows! ;)

That's fab about the hospital Dinah. Have a nice time with the nicu Mum :)

Shrimpy, I love Dexter so much it kind of hurts. The Big C is good too, kind of like Breaking Bad from the female perspective. :) Guilty pleasure has got to be Hawaii Five-0, if only for the super fun opening credits and the constant shots of the beach! :o

Yet another Song of Fire and Ice/Game of Thrones fan here. Cannot wait till the next one comes out. Probably still be saying that this time next year!

So happy to hear Grace's news! It's got to take some of the weight off of your mind now Dinah. Hopefully you'll start to make some progress at counselling once you can start to see solutions to your problems. I have a friend who has actually checked himself into The Priory because he felt he needed the help (and his health insurance company are willing to pay the £500 a day it costs to stay there) . He seems a lot happier but even he's admitted it's like it's own little world and he wonders how he's going to cope when he comes back to the real world.

Better get back to work, these spreadsheets won't update themselves!

ETA: I vote for the first one as well Lara!

I will no doubt be coming to you all soon for TV recommendations for OH, we are working through Breaking Bad at the moment which he has becoming obsessed with, but we're fast running out of episodes so I will need something new to distract/console him with!

I was obssessed with Breaking Bad - we downloaded so we could watch it all back to back :o Didn't know what to do with myself when it had finished!

  • My fave is the first one Lara but as it's in a [STRIKE]cupboard[/STRIKE] closet, I was going to say the second as it's a bit lighter/brighter ... but it might be a very large closet and that won't make a difference!

Your lucky friend (well you know what I mean) having his Priory visit paid for Ruby! I always get the impression it's like a very posh spa inside!! It's probably not, but it's not gonna be One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest either is it?!

All the telly and GoT talk is way over my head I'm afraid! :o

Love the first one, Lara!! 100% :)

Our guilty pleasure was According to Jim. Always had it on in the background when we were having out tea!

That's why I'm not reading the current "last" one. I like the security of knowing there's another, I hate reading the last of anything :o

I like to think Dani or Jon will claim the throne. Big fan of the R + L = J theory! Just need my man Howland Reed to speak up, once Dani has taken Kings Landing with her Dragons (wolves are cooler..)

We need to get Tete on board with Game of Thrones - I'm sure you'll like it! I don't know anyone who doesn't (even my OH got into it, and he's really grumpy about anything I like!)

Hehe I'm a Game of Thrones addict as well :D And I also love Arya and Tyrion, CMD. Two fab characters! I've not read the last book yet - OH got it first. I'm going to try and put it off until the final book is released. What if it's another 5 years until it's written  The TV series is filmed in Northern Ireland, which is cool. Although it's so CGI-ed up it's hard to recognise. Apart from the bits set on the Iron Islands, which are the North Antrim coast :j

I knew that, although I had heard that some of it was filmed in the burren too.

Your Dad's really into bikes, isn't he? My Dad's friend had a great ebay business buying and refurbing racing bikes and also getting cheap ones and breaking them down for parts. Would he think of a side business like that?

I'm annoyed I hadn't thought of this, he'd need someone with computer skills and knowledge of ebay to make it work. Now who do I know that he might trust to do that? D any suggestions?

Really pleased that our nicu seem to have funding to open up more cots, they're currently doing building work to convert the mums ward to an extra intensive care/special care combined ward, so that should be 4 extra cots once they've changed the current nursery into the new smaller mums ward. It was looking like they might be shut down completely, so hopefully this means they're out of the woods for the moment.

And there we have the bit you forgot to give me last night.

I'm at that stage with the Wheel of Time series.

Whats this R+L=J theory...can you put it in a link to avoid spoilers?

It'll have to be Dani, Jon is his fathers son in too many ways.

D was the same, she has never liked my books before.

ETA: Wheres the love for Semly and Old Bear Mormount?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.
