So what's the difference between Premium and basic?

Glad you had a great time on your girl's holiday. Lovely to hear that Grace enjoyed it all too, she's got good taste if she was enjoying the Beatrix Potter museum! :)

Looking forward to my nephew being a little older and doing more than just sleeping and looking adorable so I can play with him! :o I've totally picked out his Christmas present already (thanks to Dinah's Mum buying Gracie the cutest rocking horse for her birthday!)... saying that if I get pregnant before then I'm totally keeping it for myself! :)

Well done for having the guts to speak up so much at your exit interview Star! Companies need more people to do so if they want to stop people leaving! :) Take notes Tete and make sure you don't let people off when you leave! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Fingers crossed for you on the job front!

    Beccie, hows your mum doing?

I think struggling but getting through would sum things up at the moment. The house sale is the biggest thing at the moment. We finally picked an estate agent yesterday to get it on the market. And I have had to make phone calls to a lot saying that when someone says no to them they mean no  The one we have picked is not too 'estate agenty' if you know what I mean. We have viewed some new ones too, although they have been fairly disappointing. The main problem is that she's finding it too hard to do a lot of this herself so busy times for me. I also worry that as she's so clearly unhappy and I'm doing all the talking for her that the estate agents will think I'm forcing her to sell or something dodgy.
Had an awkward lunch with my Dad last Wednesday to discuss money things, another planned for tomorrow....

    Sorry that was long! :o

So are they 'upgrading' people automatically to Premium then, and you have to opt out? The only difference I could see was that you get your cashback quicker but TBH mine is always dribs and drabs of £3 here and there so I wouldn't be bothered about that!

The Beatrix Potter stuff looks fab, I've never been!

Wow Star haha! I probably won't get a leaving present anyway as guess who organises all of that stuff? :hello: Plus I've a feeling the exit interview would be with the line manager who a lot of my beef is with haha!

Dinah, those pics of Grace are so ridiculously cute its just... ridiculous. Luckily there is noone else in my office to hear me cooing at the screen! And how did I not know there was a Beatrix Potter world? Amazing! I also clicked on that super cute rocker Birdie and am now a total broody mess!

I kind of told work today that I was leaving on the 29th April regardless :o It will probably show on future references which isn't ideal but all my previous references are good (my ex-boss generally gets me to write my own :D) so I'm not too worried. Have been worrying about it so much over the past week, its a relief to finally have it sorted. Tete, I would definitely hand yours in sooner rather than later if you think they will stop you taking holiday. Or maybe book a week off first and hand your notice in three weeks beforehand IYSWIM?

I have just had my leavers interview (with the Director of Personnel no less!) but I didn't have too much to say so kept it short and sweet.

NIM, everything sounds promising for you jobs wise, am I right in thinking that the company are paying for your CRB? If so they must be pretty confident that they will have work for you?

Hope the house stuff goes ok for your mum, must be so hard for you both. Is your Dad co-operating?

Had missed the Quidco announcement, will go and have a look. I tend to use TCB more now as the rates always seem slightly higher and there is no fee, and if you cash in for vouchers you get slightly more again (although cash is better)

Such sweet pictures! Glad you had a nice time, and that job hunting sounds promising NIM.

Love the rocking horses Birdie, I want one!

So happy the weather is warming up, just went for a run and was boiling, such a nice evening. Tete if I have stupidly achy ankles while I run do I need a) new trainers b) a new techniquie c) to toughen up?

I got the Quidco email as well so also off to investigate, would rather it was free...

Go! Now! (well not now, it's shut). I love it and there were plenty of people there without children.

Thank you! I know I'm biased but I happen to think she's a very pretty baby.

One of my colleagues called me this evening to tell me she's expecting a baby, she's only 9 weeks but she's been puking everywhere so half the office had guessed. She's due in November, so would be good if I could be back before she goes off. Having a baby has just made me more baby mad, I can't get enough of pregnancy and children. Although I still don't know how to talk to any child but my own.

Dinah and NIM - Grace is gorgeous (like you didn't already know!). Seeing her smiley face and obvious excitement at the Beatrix Potter place takes me back to when I took DD to a Wind in the Willows exhibition......... :):)

    Morning all,

Sprry haven't been around, was off last week moving and we don;t get internet properly till friday although have been using bt wifi.

Looks like you had an amazing time in the lake district Dinah. Grace is such a gorgeous , smily baby. I think we might have to visit the beatrix potter place next time we are up there.

Not much other news here, is Poppys 2nd birthday Friday! We are having a little party saturday and need to attempt an iggle piggle cake (tv character for those who don't know).
