Hm, it might be the FB settings; I've just sent you a friend request, but I'll make it public anyway :)

Ah he's (she's?) lovely. Although I wouldn't be too impressed if they were in my garden. We've always had chickens growing up so a fox was the last thing we wanted in the garden. So cute though x

I'm quite surprised how big it is actually! Was expecting a tiny kitten-sized thing for some reason! What does Jasper think, does he just growl from the windowsill?

Oh yes, LOVED that map dress! Couldn't wear it without thinking of the Divine Comedy line about the "@rse the size of a small country" though :o

Thanks for putting me off that dress Tete! :p

I've been looking for a photo of it Star but can't find it. :( It was very lovely and a good example of women getting around rationing. I knew they made dresses out of parachute silk but I never knew that they made silk maps for pilots. :)

Sorry :o I knew about the silk maps but not the dresses, or the parachute dresses! I did know that potato people used to print potato sacks nicely though because they would use those for dresses too :)

What a good way to look at it - get that wine and brie into you!

I think Lauren will win the Sewing Bee, unless Ann comes up with something fantastic next week - she's really good but not adventurous enough for the judges I don't think. I liked Tilly, I've been following her blog for a while and love the style of things she makes, so TBH I was quite surprised at how not-amazing she was on the show :o Better than I could have beenunder pressure I'm sure, but her patch pockets were surprisingly ... *whispers* shoddy. Anyway, I've been loving the whole thing, the series has been far too short but I'm so inspired not just to make more stuff, but to take more care to finish it nicely (Lauren's floral seams on her jacket last night..! :happyhear) and be a bit more adventurous both in the items I make and the skills I use (I totally know how to do a French Seam but do I ever do it?!) Whew, sorry for the outpouring, just really enthused at the mo! Who on here is going to make a shirred dress for their daughter???
Haha I must have missed that bit! I think Sandra shot herself in the foot a bit there (although I agreed with her!) :( I liked her too.

Ahem, I don't think shirred bodices are the most flattering on the breastically-challenged :p

Oh don't say that! Just got this for Greece in blue, and I love it, but pregnancy stole my boobs! Went from a 34DD to a 32B. Boooo! Would love to try the shirred dress but that I think it's past my limits.
