Ah wendz 2?? How did that happen??? My DD loved in the night garden. Although makka pakka was her favourite. She used to make us all do the dance when he came on :rotfl: I'd love to see the cake.

I second the call for a cake picture Wendz! I can't believe Poppy is two. We saw our friend's little boy last night who was one in January, he was obsessed with our cat and trying to pull his fur out and stick it back onto his head (!) but luckily Munch just sat and took it in good spirits!

Lucky you have such a good natured cat shrimpy! My two both used to use my mums dog as a help to stand up. They would grab handfuls of his fur and pull themselves into a standing position. Luckily he just stood there and let them do it (then ran and hid from them before they could do it again :rotfl: :o )

Crikey, how did Poppy get so old?! Is she still dinky? :) Good luck with the cake... sounds like quite the challenge! Are you all moved in and settled now? :)

I wonder if it would be possible for me to be more baby mad than I already am?! I was at a friend's on Saturday and her brother popped in with his 9 month old girl, I've met her brother once yet that didn't stop me from stealing the litle girl and cuddling her to death! :o Even OH had a bit of a cuddle and a sneaky sniff of her head when he thought no-one was watching! :)

On the subject of good-natured pets, one of our friends has a little girl and her dog can't stand her. He's really good with her, but you can see he hates the abuse she puts him through when she thinks she's 'playing' with him! Poor thing! This friend is now pregnant again and was saying that the dog's been really depressed recently and we think it's because he knows there's another little terrorist on the way! Poor pooch! :o

Re: the Sewing Bee, I don't know who I want to win; I think it'll be Ann but she's got a bit of an unfair advantage being so 'experienced'. She also looks really sniffy whenever someone criticises anything she does and you can tell she expects to come out top every week. Already looking forward to next series when the standards will be higher and hopefully it'll go on for longer! :) I felt quite crafty last night as I was doing my cross stitch whilst watching!

Oh but the cross stitch I'm working on is so annoying! :o I thought it looked relatively simple as it was small and there only looked to be half a dozen colours. But no... each colour has 2 shades (which look the same...) which are randomly mingled together so I'm constantly switching threads and trying to figure out where I am as the pattern is badly printed and I can't tell one cream/red from another! Will be glad when it's finished! :) Luckily it's supposed to look a little crazy and doodled so a few misplaced stitches shouldn't look too bad! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Can't believe Poppy is going to be 2 Wendz!!!

I want to bring my 2 to Peppa Pig world but think it will be in 2014. I think they would love it!

Driving lesson number 5 tomorow. I am not getting much practice inbetween which is not good but I can see slight improvements every week. OH still hasn't gotten his provisional back yet so can't start lessons. And he is the one that needs the car more than me. We hope to buy a car in June so that should improve our driving!

How are things going on the baby front Birdie? If you don't mind me asking. I understand if you don't want to though xxx

Will def post a picture of the cake.

We are all settled in thanks Birdie, just need the washing machine to be fixed and internet sorted and we will be good :-).

My mum and dad have two cats and one is tolerant of Poppy but the other is very wary and has almost lashed out at her oops. She is quite good with them though and likes to open the cat flap for them but ends up shutting it in their faces half the time.

Peppa pig world is quite near my parents CMD so hoping to take Poppy this summer. Good luck with the driving lesson.

I missed the Sewing Bee last night, have it recorded but I couldn't keep away from Twitter last night so I saw who got sent home I think - unless it was two people again in which case I only know one of them!

I know what you mean about Ann, she is so much more experienced that it isn't really a fair contest in a way, but I'm still totally in awe of her! I liked Tilly, I always like the annoying ones! (maybe I empathise with them!)

I'm going to another Come Craft With Me afternoon on Sat so will hopefully make some progress on my wedding sampler, its looking a bit sad and neglected! I always mess up my stitches Birdie, apparently being able to count is a useful skill in cross-stitch but one I don't seem to possess! They always come out ok. I started a really cheap little one and couldn't match the colours on the chart to the threads at all so I gave up. They made no sense whatsoever and bore no resemblance to the picture! Give me presorted threads anyday!

I liked Tilly too, I think I kind of emphathised with her in that she had all these ideas but she didn't quite have the skills to see them through. I like Ann, I think she's very proper, obviously technically extremely good, but I do like the Scottish girl as she seems to have much more creative flair, but again needs a bit more practice to get to the level of a Saville Row tailor.

Baby mad can always get worse Birdie, and once you're expecting this time will seem mild in comparision, there is absolutely nothing else I could think of, I was googling baby articles several times daily just to get my fix. I'm sorry it's taking so long to get there though.

I became a bit obsessed too. I started getting broody in the December and we weren't in the position to start TTC'ing until the following April. I am an extremely impatient person so it felt like torture and then all my friends started to announce they were pregnant.

I am also sorry it is taking you longer than you hoped x
