Ah Shrimpy, so glad you're home
Any word on the move? x
I must admit I clicked on that link but there was nothing that took my fancy in my size and price range luckily, as I've bought myself a few little Christmas presents lately! Love those spangly shoes Ruby but it's a difficult one - when's the wedding? On one hand you could not buy them and then regret it and never find any you like as much, on the other you could buy them and then see some you like better later on ... I guess with the latter though you can always ebay them?
I don't know how you can wear heels all the time Dinah! If I wear some feeble little 2" heels I'm crippled by 3pm ... I can only really wear them out so I'm drunk by the time they start to hurt and I can't feel it! Yummy to the spontaneous banana bath bomb
NIM maybe we should make it a date then if Dinah definitely doesn't mind me stealing you away for a couple of hours? It's not too weird is it?!
My first day off work today and I haven't stepped over the threshold, it's been lovely! Slept properly for the first time in ages, I think because I know I don't have to think about work for a whileDad has the results of his latest scan in the morning though so fingers crossed it's good news. Then I have my skills tests for the PGCE on Friday so that'll be fun fun fun too

Nah, take him. Just don't pretend you're not with him when he's bouncing up and down in excitement in the lobby and spills your popcorn.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Lovely to hear from you Shrimpy, thanks for updating us! Fingers crossed everything is all good for you from now on!
Really hope your Dad gets good news too Tete!
Can't remember if I said, but OH has been signed off work until 2nd Jan. I love him and it's nice having him at home... but he's *always* here, makes my evenings a bit all over the place as he's ruining my routine!
I'm off work tomorrow and we're going to York for a spot of Christmas shopping and lunch. That's it for days off over Christmas for me though.Working Christmas Eve, Thursday and Friday next week and New Years Eve!
Luckily there aren't many people in, it'll be dress down and fairly relaxed hours.
Bathtime sounds grim _pale_ yay to new shoes though!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I can understand how you feel about OH being there all the time Birdie, I do like my alone time I have to say, just for pottering in peace!
I'm in the office all alone 2-5 Jan, in fact I think there'll be about three people in the whole buidling, so yeah 'relaxed' dress and hours all the way!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Glad that you're home now Shrimpy and it all went well. Hope you're resting up and taking it easy
Dinah, you're so glam! I couldn't do anything in 5" heels, let alone the chores! How cute that Grace keeps wriggling under the Christmas treeBest present ever??
I'm SO excited about breaking up for Christmas (do you still call it that when you're at work and not at school?!). I've passed the 'OMG so much to do' stage and now happily at the 'well it's not going to get done now' stage. Which is nice. Today is my last proper working day - office party tonight for our members, so more work than play. Tomorrow we'll be clearing up the aftermath and setting our out-of-offices before Christmas lunch and then freeeeeedom
Tete, sounds like you're enjoying your hols already! Thinking of you and your dad this morning, hope you get good news xxLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Fingers crossed for your dad this morning Tete x
I may have accidentally bought two pairs of pink wedding shoes last night! I blame the painkillers! I can't walk in heels either and rarely bother these days so will definitely be doing housework in them to break them in, I must admit I'm envious of people who wear them with ease!
The house is highly unlikely to complete until Jan now, can't remember if I said but their are only three of us in the chain and although we were all keen to move it was the vendors at the top that were pushing for a date before Christmas, however it came to light yesterday that there is a CCJ registered against their house which they didn't declare, so that has caused another hold up. After tomorrow the solicitors all shut up shop until the new year so it's unlikely go be resolved today . That's a shame about the house Shrimpy, but glad you're home and feeling better!
Hope all goes well with your Dad today Tete.
Woke up this morning with a sore throat and am progressively feeling more rubbish as the day goes on. Thinking of you and your dad this morning Tete, hope it's great news.
Had the health visitor around for an hour and a half this morning, she's calling my GP as she thinks I need more support and some counselling as I'm possibly depressed and certainly having a lot of anxiety. It's 90% to do with the stupid ACD diagnosis on Grace, if someone could just tell me she doesn't have it I could stop bursting into tears every time she coughs for fear it's her lungs failing.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
