Oh my word, why must you torture me so Dinah?! Luckily so far the only shoes I've seen that I really like have big platforms so I can't get them; if I wear shoes that are too high I tower over OH and I don't like that! :o Oooh but I really like these ones, so cute! :)

  • Oh Dinah I am so tempted to buy these as possible future wedding shoes...I was eyeing up the blue glittery version but they aren't in the sale and I think they've actually stopped making them now. I'm a bit torn, I don't know what to do!

The link didn't work for me Ruby but I used my detective skills to figure out which shoes you're looking at and I think they're lovely! Total bargain to boot! (Hehe accidental pun there! ;)) Maybe you could get a blue bow for the front if you want a splash of colour? :)

Love both pairs you've pointed out Lara! Get them! :T

Oh and I can't really walk in skyscraper heels very well, which is another reason to stay away from them! :o

  • Ack, I've almost pulled the trigger on those shoes 4 times but just can't bring myself to do it! Saving the money is more important to me at the moment.

Argh NIM, thanks for the lovely thought but I couldn't possibly gooseberry your date night, especially now you have Gracie, I'd feel terrible!

She wont go now, so offer still stands, I'm not a huge fan of going to the cinema on my own...unless I'm being paid to.

Bad influence reporting for duty. The Kurt Geiger outlet has all the shoes at £29 or less - https://www.shoeaholics.com, some amazing bargains to be had for those who've been holding off waiting for the sales. Also a free lucky dip gift. Don't forget quidco!

Aww hope she settles soon Dinah!

NIM - sometimes I wish I was a bloke and didn't care about all the beauty stuff/shoes/clothes but then I wake up and realise that they all make me feel better about myself!

I'm home from work again today so taking the opportunity to clean and organise the bits of the flat that have just been left to come back to when we moved in. Also need to sort all my important paperwork out as it's currently residing in about 3 drawers when I have a nice box file all organised waiting for it.

Hi all, just a quick note to say thank you for all your thoughts and good wishes, they nearly let me home yesterday but it ended up being today at about 2.30 so am home now. All went well but I won't get the results until after Christmas, feeling pretty positive about it all though and super glad to be home! Not feeling too bad either, just a bit fragile and dopey :o

Hope Grace settled for you Dinah and you managed to get some sleep.

Did your OH get signed off Birdie?

Am I right in thinking someone told me they has split The Hobbit into three films or did I make that up? I read it in school, not really sure if I fancy it at the cinema or not, will wait and see if anyone else suggests it I think!

Off to look at shoes :) Although as I completely lost track of December my CC direct debit bounced yesterday, need to move some money around and maybe try the sympathy card to see if I can get the charge waived :o

I put the clothes away and made the bed in 5" heels today - totally felt better and more like me than a mummydrone. I was wearing them to check they're comfy (mum bought me them a few days ago and I was worried they would hurt after 10 mins) but nevertheless they definitely gave my vest top and yoga pants slob look a real twist.

Grace abslutely loves the big bath so I tend to go in with her a few times a week as she likes it deep and it's easier to just be in with her. Tonight she really livened the event up by repeatedly puking banana pudding into the water - ewwww!
