I'm a NYE hater too Shrimpy, but think I'm going to Leeds as well. Refuse to go out, but a house party should be bearable... How are you feeling anyway?

We're going to our friends' house for NYE, I'm not really a fan of the whole thing TBH but at least we'll be staying away from the pubs and clubs. It's in another town though so will cost us about £40 to get a taxi home! I hope they all come to us next year as I'm getting a little fed up of travelling all the time! We have a huge fireworks display and a steel band on the market place in our town too, it's great!
Hope you get lots of nice cheap things in the sales Archers!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Glad you are doing Ok Shrimpy, take advantage of everyone fussing
.
I am finding these few days a bit boring, not at work but OH is. Just me and Poppy and the weather and no car means there is not much to do.
Looking forward to jan when i am getting stuck into wedding planning.
Not a fan of new years here. OH has to work every year, he is in trafalgar square this year. my friend has invited me to hers but is a bit of a faff with Poppy . Is a chance my sister might be free though.
Good luck at the sales Archers!0 -
Hello everyone!
Sorry I havent been around for a while, been so busy juggling being back at work and looking after Noah - I dont know how people find time to go back full time after having babies!
Hope you are all well (I dont have time to read back everything I have missed!) and everyone had a lovely Christmas.

Why have you failed Grace? Why is it your fault she is poorly?
You know it isn't, so stop thinking like that right now! You are a great Mum and understandably are stressed with everything that has gone on with her since she was born.....but its no ones fault..!!!!!! woman!
OK, sorry rant over - be happy, you have a lovely family, enjoy it xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Been catching up for the last few days with Christmas and seeing people, fially had a day at home today. Went sale shopping with mum yesterday and had dinner at Jamie's Italian in York (and breakfast at Betty's) which was nice. Mum and dad got us a tv for Christmas, which Grace is loving.

Eee you're a harsh one. I guess I just think she was quite happy cooking away inside, it was my body that started to shut down and booted her out of her home
You are a nawty lady, you know dam well what I mean, you didn't choose for her to be born when she was!
Enjoy her, get some counselling, its very good (says someone who has been there and got the T-Shirt:)) you learn so much about yourself, as long as you go into it with an open and honest mind.
Hugs n kisses

Aww I'm still at OH parents house and freaking out now, as we've been away from home since 19th. Any ability to make small talk I once had had evaporated. I feel like a teenager. Home tomorrow I can't wait, wooohoooo!!! :j :j
Hugs to everyone who has to work.
Shrimpy - huge hugs, I am so glad you're doing well. I hope those keys get exchanged sooooooooon.
Birdie that is so cool the YHL lady sent you a signed bookplate. I would have loved those presents too! I got some awesome presents this year for once - check out my yellow knitted pouf:
Now we just have to get it home from the West country tomorrow. Also I got an ice-cream maker for my old Kenwood chef. Dieting is going to be difficult, but yey to frozen yoghurt.
Glad all the littlies had a fab Christmas.

I have finally got OH to agree to sit down next Saturday and sort the finances out, good start to the New Year but would rather have done it this week - he has man flu, though! I've started sorting mine, though, so fingers crossed we'll get an update of the bad news soon :eek:Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
