If anyone (like me) hadn't signed up to Martin's new energy club thingymabob then until Friday they will donate £1 to comic relief for every new sign up
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheapenergyclub
very easy to do, it will email you if there is a cheaper energy deal out there (although I was chuffed to see we're already on one cheaper than anything available), and you can set it to email you if you'd save anything, or only if you'd save say £50 or £200 a year etc.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks for the link Dinah! Signed up but need to find a bill to check which tariff we're on.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Just did ours and looks like we could improve but will prob wait till we move and then do it.
Dinah - definately sounds like you have a more legitamate reason to christen Grace and it obviously means a lot to you.0 -
I e-mailed the site manager blokey from Cinny's recommendation and he recognised my company name in my e-mail address and said that we're suppliers of them so if I call him he'll give me extra discount, it's already pretty good value at £399 for 3 nights between 6 of us so I'm happy about that!
Woop woop! :money: They are so nice there it's unreal, there's a little cafe on site too with home made cakes, lots of chocolate, fresh breakfast things. One of those swanky "farmers shops" basically
Sounds like you'll be making the most of the free listing weekend, NIM! I love getting the odd bag of "stuff" I've left at my Parents. Would go barmy if I had all that thrown at me at once!
The energy deal sounds good, but we only changed supplier in Winter and being prepay it doesn't work the same for usI keep on buying the red nose box of malteser though :A

On a roll today, £100 off First Direct should come through at some point, also applied for the 123 account which has £60 quidco as well as our mortgage being with them so we should get about £15-£18 cashback every month if we're approved for that (first direct told us straight away, santander say they'll tell us in 3 days). Then £6 for complaining to Tesco about a substitution.
As a round up so far for March Madness (actually in account) we have:
Amazon sales £55.29
Amazon sales £22.06
Quidco £6.45
Quidco £2.62
Ebay sales £10.27
Ebay sales £56.83
Mystery Shopping £44.00
- minus £44.60 in postage
= £152.92
Seems a bit pathetic at only 7.6% of the aimed for total... but it takes time sometimes for money to trickle in and I'm certain of making it to at least 33.1% of the aimed for total.... still pathetic but that's why it takes effort and a big push! I can imagine how we'll get to the 50-60% mark..... it's the last 'eeek' bit that I'm a bit stuck on!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Is it petty that my day just got even better when I found a photo of my ex while looking for an envelope and I really enjoyed getting to rip his head off? And then into lots of tiny pieces? Stopped short of then burning them too as I don't think I could have contained the joy and not woken Grace from her nap.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Not petty - sounds therapeutic!
We have been very careful with not ordering out, using up all of our food and not going out or planning to go out (over Paddys Day), no driving lesson this week so I have another £300 to throw at March Madness
Dinah - you are christening Grace for the right reasons. There is no shame in getting emotional about that. We had a big party for Max's because we weren't living at home and he was only 2 months old so it was a way for family and friends to see him. For Evie's we had a smaller sit down meal for close family & godparents. Both were lovely. We christened both at about 2 months. It is tradition where I am from to christen them fairly young.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I know, NIM found it very strange to wait so long, but most babies over here are 6-12 months, Grace will be an old one but I didn't want to lug the oxygen tank up to the font, and obviously couldn't do it through winter, so now she'll be answering back to the vicar!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
