Where has the bonmarche thread gone??!

I'm sorry some of u guys have had such a bad time. My order was delivered to store and I collected it today. The lady then asked me to check it was all there so she could stamp the collect 10 stamps for £5 off voucher! So not only did I get the amazing discounts, plus topcashback, I also got another £5 voucher to spend instore and I dont think its minimum spend!! So I'm well chuffed and very grateful to OP.

I ordered a pair of slippers using 4 codes, got them for around £4 down from £9. I had a phone call today to say they are ready to collect in store.

I was expecting the order to be cancelled since I stacked codes so was suprised it has been fulfilled. Would I have been annoyed if it had been cancelled? Certainly not. Retailers do not have to honour website glitches that have been taken adavantage of.

I don't shop in BM, I only looked on their website when I seen the thread as I was looking for a pair of slippers for my gran and the ones I seen in Debenhams had gone out of stock when I got to payment page

not annoyed that my order got cancelled... but not impressed that payment was then taken anyway... no response to emails but they have kindly sent me more reminders about their partywear code.. :rotfl:

Did you pay by card or paypal? I am sure everyone who has had orders cancelled will be refunded within 7 days of the cancellation email.

You can unsubscribe from their emails. I made sure I ticked the box when I signed up so I did not get any advertisin emails since I wouldn't be shopping there again.

paypal.. two orders, got a refund notification from paypal for one for the full amount (inc P+P) but the other just a cancellation from bonmarche..

no payments had gone from my account at that stage..

then 3 days later both payments taken from my bank account and the first one was the order amount less the P+P

very strange!

I am guessing you did not have the funds in your Paypal account, therefore the amount would be taken from your bank account. When I have cancelled an order (with other companies), I have noticed I have been refunded before the payment has actually been taken from my bank.

It's strange how they are charging for delivery when refunding. Maybe their refund process does not automatically refund the delivery charge but I am sure when they pick up your email, they will refund this amount back to your account.

the amount is deducted on paypal but doesn't leave my bank until the merchant processes the order / payment so not sure why it was taken 3 days after the cancellation.. I'll have to wait and see what response comes back from them I guess?

2 payments now been taken, one was meant to have been refunded - the other was just cancelled with no refund follow up!

My money's left my bank, but my refund is 'on hold' with Paypal while they 'review' it. I tweeted them on Monday and they said it should be released in 48 hours so if it's not back in my account by tomorrow I'm going to raise merry hell :mad:

I paid via paypal but I had the funds in my paypal account so they did not to leave my bank account. As I said, it sounds like your funds were coming from your bank account and not sitting in your paypal account (if you see what I mean), therefore the refund will have gone back into your paypal account before the original payment has left your bank account.

Thats a Paypal review and nothing to do with Bon Marche. Paypal often 'review' payments but the funds are usually released quite quickly.
