If you would really use it then go for it.
Only you know how much you would use it though.

  • *sigh* :o

I've tried making coffee & taking it in a flask but it just doesn't seem to keep at all well - almost like the milk curdles?

Anyone else tried this / had problems?

Also ... in the winter ..... I could easily be tempted to have one every day :o:eek: and it's a real struggle not to give in (which is why I tried the coffee in the flask .....)

Thinking as this is made with the milk etc already in it, it should be OK .... ?????

  • I think you've already made your mind up rising... if you're going to stick with it and make use of it then no problem.
I've had a similar issue myself, trying to decide whether to pay to go back to slimming world or not. Truth is though, I do better at class... I have until Thursday to decide.
And happy new year to you - I've only just found your new diary and subscribed. :D

If is the big question tho ..... I really wish I could try one in the flask to see how well / long it keeps ..... but that ain't going to happen!

Just found a coffee with milk already added one that comes in at about 37p ..... or I guess I could just go with plain coffee (which I'm not as keen on) but it might keep better in the flask and I could then add milk at work ..... oh booger!

Lovely to see you .... and wishing you all the best for 2013 ..... hope things sort themselves out on the work front soon

  • Is there a board for asking questions about gadgets?

Can't see one off hand .... (would go to OS for a food mixer, SC etc but don't think a coffee machine's appropriate for that board!)

  • Thanks Beanielou have posted over there as it's worth a shot!

It's just a lot to fork out if it won't keep in a flask - I would use it in the house .... but that's not really the MSE reason I wanted it as I can already make "proper" coffee when I'm here anyway!

My thought would be that they wont travel well but will be interesting to see if people have had experiences of putting them in a flask.
