    Hi Rising

    Happy New Year :j

I get the Nescaf! 3in 1 coffee sachets for work (i have a sweet tooth :o ) but they also do 2in 1 version, used to get them from Mr A & Mr T but pound shops often stock them now & work out much cheaper. Tried a couple of own/cheaper brand versions which weren't nearly so palatable (yuck!)

Took a few cups to get used to but really convenient and nicer IMHO than flasks etc.

    Happy New Year, Rising, :hello:

Can't help on the coffee conundrum, sorry (but would prefer carrying sachets rather than a filled flask, personally). Hope you find a happy solution. :)

..... do you know what ..... I think I used to use these years ago ...... not got a £ shop near me  so have to try to pop in when I'm flying past on the way somewhere else - but will have a look at Mr A when I'm next there!:T

I've decided I'm not buying one if I can't guarantee it'll work in a flask ... yes it would be nice to have one in the house but I really need it to stop me buying coffee at work ... which it won't do if I can't get it there!

See ... this thinking about stuff overnight works!:j

Remembered one of my friends got a coffee pod machine a while back so just asked her how it is.
She says although they used it a lot when they first got it (month or two tops) she now describes it as a lovely kitchen ornament :rotfl:

This is why I don't buy things compulsively, I used to! I debated buying my ipad a few months back for that reason, but it was then I realised I'd wrecked my computer and I actually needed a new computer so i got my parents to buy me it from America and saved 100 or so pounds that way!

I'm with you guys though I need coffee in work, at the end of last year I started putting coffee in a tub and taking it to work, and liberating any spare milk there was...:)

Yup .... that's what I'd be worried about if it was solely for use in the house.....

Trouble is .... :o I'm a bit of a ..... errr not sure what the right word is ... not snob  but let's say decidedly errrr fussy :o when it comes to coffee - I don't do instant  and generally have it 1/2 "proper" coffee 1/2 hot milk - this is why I'm struggling so much! (ohhhh and it has to be brown sugar too!)

Spied a thread on the OS board last night about household diaries - what people keep in them / do they have them etc etc

Anyway, there's a load of flylady (which I have to be honest about and say I've never been that into:o) that was really interesting about household journals - not really what I'm after as I need to have my bits able to be carried around with me (and some may remember the issue of the huge to do list book that arrived:()

I currently have / am carrying around with me:

    - A7 week to view diary - spending diary
    - A6 notebook: marked up with each day - to do list
    - A6 day to page diary - appointments

So .... wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to combine these :)

After much faffing around :o ... wait for it:

Can do these back to back (even more faffing around to get them to come out the right way up :o) so 4 to an A4 page .... so around 90 pages for the year ...... mmmmmm

Have printed off enough to do January - and will see how useful it is / if it works ... don't want to waste all the ink in my printer if it's not going to work!!!!

We've got a coffee machine, we were given it as a present, and we do use it occasionally, mainly when someone else is here!

    ETA: that looks good!
