mmmm might need to spend today
Have printed the diary pages off ... but as they're A5 size not quite sure what to do with them to keep them together!
Have shoved them into my WW binder just now (so everything from that is now in a heap!) but will need to get something

Do you have to get that today? Can't you make do for now until it's on a day when you're spending anyway?
Or, just put it in an A4 folder and they'll just be a bit smaller?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Right ... need to attempt to do a meal plan
I am absolutely useless at these .... I think a lot of it is really down to having Crohn's as a lot of time, it's what I can eat - not what I want or planned to eat
Not a lot I can do about that - and with the restrictive diet, it might actually be a bit easier (as a lot of the things I might want to eat normally but couldn't on "bad days" are actually on the "no no" list atm anyway!)
So ......
I guess they better go Sat - Fri as I tend to go to the SM on a Sat so could get any missing bits ..... guess I should do lunches as well  but will start with dinners:)
Note: trying to use up some of the stuff in the freezer this month as it's overflowing  (and no room to put any new batch cooked stuff ) - so it's a bit repeatative (?sp tried loads of things & it doesn't look right!) due to what's in there ... and the beeping restricted diet
Weds - gammon joint & carrot, swede & pot mash
Thurs - salmon & new pots
Fri - LO gammon - maybe with new pots & salad? (will need to see what it's like when cooked - not tried this before but saw it when shopping with DM & it was cheap & looks nice!)
Sat -cod & chips
Sun - roast chicken & roast veg
Mon - chicken & leek risotto
Tues - chicken & leek risotto
Weds - salmon & new pots
Thurs - turkey steaks in breadcrumbs & new pots
Fri - chicken casserole & swede, carrot & pot mash (both from freezer)
*sigh* quite chicken heavy but it always ends up like that when I have a whole chicken to "rubberise" - it's the last one out the freezer (they take up loads of space so will be pleased to get it used up!)
shopping list

Hi Rising.
I could'nt help but notice your love of crumpets.
I wondered how hard they are to make?. Think I have seen them made on telly, but I think you need little metal rings to pour the mixture into when its in the pan.
Other than that I expect it is quite a cheap mix.
I wondered if you could cut up a baked bean tin as crumpet moulds?.
Might not be your sort of thing, but thought I would mention it, then you would have unlimited access to crumpets :T0 -
Does'nt look too hard, especially if you are already a home Bread Maker =
Homemade crumpets
The crumpet is usually a conduit for butter and jam - but with a little restraint can be quite a healthy breakfast.
Ingredients- 450g/1lb strong white flour, sifted
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp/1x7g sachet fast-action dried yeast
- 300ml/½ pint warm milk
- 300ml /½ pint warm water
- vegetable oil
- 4 crumpet rings or 7.5cm/3in plain pastry cutters, greased
- Place the flour and salt into a large bowl and stir in the sugar and yeast making a well in the centre. Pour in the warm milk and water and mix to give quite a thick batter. Beat well until completely combined and cover with a tea towel or cling film.
- Leave in a warm place to rise for about an hour until it's a light, spongy texture.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over a very low heat with a drop of oil. Wipe the pan with kitchen paper to remove excess oil. Sit the greased crumpet rings in the pan and leave to heat up for a couple of minutes.
- Pour in enough mixture to fill the rings just over halfway up the sides. Leave to cook until plenty of small holes appear on the surface and the batter has just dried out. This will take about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the rings and turn over the crumpets to cook for a further minute or two on the other side. Sit the first batch of crumpets on a wire rack while continuing to cook the remaining mixture.

Well ... forgot to take a couple of £s when we went out so crumpet-less (have enough left for the morning) BUT I suddenly remembered I was bidding on something on e*bay (thought I'd missed the end but got to it with 11 mins to spare) and won it :j - min bid as well :T
So .... as it's a spend day anyway - have ordered the ringbinder & dividers
Spends for the day:
E*bay - dog treat pouch & poop bag (hopefully this will put an end to their being biscuits and poop bags in literally every pocket of every jacket): £2.89
Ama*zon - ringbinder & dividers: £3.24
