Thank you for the welcomes & sorry for the typo's (on the iPad & have cat on knee - excuses, excuses I know).
As the Scots will have realised I have nicked the aviator, name & signature from the Broons.
Maybe I am more of a Daphne working towards a Maggie !!

My family are all Scottish..I've been down here since I was 3 though - when I was young I LOVED The Broons and Oor Wullie!:rotfl: my gran laughed at me reading them:)
I really need to sort out a new signature!

  • Awwww thanks all :D

Just back from DM&Ds ... had a lovely roast dinner :D and not at all peckish!

BUT .... being majorly tempted to spend on a want and it's only DAY 1 of the year :eek::eek::eek:

Coffee pod machine thing (you know the ones I was going to get DF for Xmas:o) reduced to £39.99 ...... pods work out about 47p / serving for a Latte / Hot choc etc (which I'd prob use) and about 30p for coffee

BUT if I get one at work (we unfortunately have a *bucks in our canteen :o) they're £1.80 .... and I'm afraid I get at least 1 / week (and if I'm totally honest, it's usually 2 ... but I do try not to go over that :eek:)

So ..... say 50p / serving would save me £1.30 each time x 2 / week ... say £2.50 / week - so the machine would pay for itself in errrrr 16 weeks

    *sigh*

    What to do
