I was prescribed it when I was in hospital (had never heard of it before) and wasn't sure if you could get it without a prescription but looks like you can& not too expensive either:T Your local chemist may well keep it!

*sigh*:o
Having a big debate about this one!:o
£54 would cover 2 weeks on the bus (£14 for local infrequent hideously early in the morning bus for 10 journeys & £40 for 10 journeys on the big hideously expensive national bus to come home)
It's a heck of a difference between £14 and £40 for traveling up the same 7.5 miles of tarmac!
So ... have enough for 2 weeks put aside but I'd really feel more comfortable having 4 weeks aside (as that's how long I ended up on the bus in the bad 2010 winter) ..... so that would be £108
BUT ... there's the fuel saving so this would be able to go towards it now I've got the fuel pot up and running :j
*sigh*
Thinking I may get rid of it and add the money to the Mattress fund ... it's probably more needed!

Ohhhhh and I've just made myself the most disasterous dinner ever
Honestly, how come everyone else manages to make things in the SC .... I've not used it for ages and ... well anyway, it was a disaster and can see the dog getting most of what's left
Bah!
I can do beef in the SC and it's fab .. but when it comes to chicken! Never again!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

What were you trying to make? How did you do it? I love our SCBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Chicken casserole
The sauce is lovely and the carrots are fine .....but the swede is rock hard and the chicken is dry
I've tried it for chicken curry before and it was similarly disasterous!
I chucked the whole lot in this morning & left it?
Can see me taking the chicken out & the dog getting it and then removing the swede from the sauce and freezing that & the carrots to use with chicken breasts (cooked separately!) later ....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
