Rising, just do what i do in supermarkets (or any shops these days) and walk around with your list muttering "they will not have my money, they will not have my money"...i swear i sound mental if anyone hears me, but at least i'll be debt free and mental!0

Haha - thanks both!
Well ... I didn't do too badly and better than I'd normally do so ..... I guess it's progress (still a long way to go tho'!):o
I did fall for the whoopsie section - there was loads but mainly red meats which I still can't have so resisted those!
Did get a load of fish for the dog (she loves fish but doesn't get it very often!) which was a silly price and it's currently being poached on the hob - there is actually loads there:D didn't realise quite how much until I'd got it all in the pan (she gets a little meat / fish added to her dry) .... will need to try to find room in the freezer for the portions!
So ... on me, I spent £18.09 - most of it was on the listI'd forgotten that I needed yoghurts so got some of those & some Mr T own ones to try - even taking the obligatory Strawberry one out the 4 pack, they were cheaper (10p each) than buying branded ones individually so we'll see what they're like ... why oh why does everything have to have bloomin' strawberry in it!
A few things weren't on the list
Whoopsied chicken thighs - thought these could go in the SC (will do that tomorrow - have a load of veg that needs using)
Streaky bacon which loads of people rave about so will try that with my chicken breasts - I've been meaning to try this for ages but always forget it
Lur*pak as it was on offer
I did also get a pack of cheese puffs and Prin*gles (treat budget) for Hogmany .... well, a girl's got to live eh!:rotfl:
Maisie had a fab time on the beach - she even paddled a little bit but it was quite choppy and she's still afraid of the waves :rotfl:we met a few other dogs so she had a nice play & she then found a bit of rope to play with ...... Ohhhh just noticed it's started raining so we're just back in time!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Arrrrggghhh - warning moan coming
Have had a sharp bit in my mouth today and thought I'd chipped a tooth  but further investigation has revealed new mouth ulcers
Honestly, I wish they'd booger off - I go a couple of weeks with none & then they flare up again  (they're a sign that my disease is active so Drs always concerned when they appear) ......
*sigh* thankfully I've got some of the vile - but very good - mouthwash stuff left from when I was in hospital ......Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Bah indeed - I hate them ... it's really sore
They're caused by the disease itself rather than the treatment ... not quite sure why (will have a search tomorrow)WantToBeSE wrote: »Hey Rising, i just saw this and thought you may be interested?

Arrrrgggghhhh I was almost afraid to open it  having bought something off the last link from you- my fuss pots won't eat this (fortunately!) ... stuck with the expensive stuff (sure they must put something in it as once cats eat this stuff they literally won't eat anything else - and it's not just my cats this has happened to!) but I do bulk buy on offer which helps a little ....

People
Just me being silly really & getting worked up about things that I can't control & know that I shouldn't
AND I've just found out that I've ordered something from someone (custom made so can't cancel) and they've decided to start their sale on Wednesday:mad: but it was still cheaper than the other place I could've got it so I guess I shouldn't really complain
Might treat myself to a wee hot choc & a crumpet as that usually does the trick and cheers me up a bit
TBH I'm tired and I always get grumpy when I'm tired ..... I've slept a lot today which I guess could be down to having Maisie back as I've done a lot more in the past few days than I've done for weeks
Trying to stay up a bit tho' or I'll be away in the middle of the beepin night which will start the whole circle again!:(
