Ohhh it was vile this morning .... raining and really, really windy and not at all pleasant to be out in.
Thankfully it seems to have died down so we took advantage ... ohhhh she had fun!
She loves puddles and will happily play in one for ages if we come across one ..... splashing, jumping, running etc etc but a field full of them ... think she really was in doggy heaven!:)
Quite good actually as I can't walk very far yet so at least she got a decent amount of exercise!:cool:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi Rising
I love the photo of Maisie, she is so sweet..makes me long for a dog of my own. Maybe one day when i have a regular income and enough time.

So ...... thinking about what I need to try to save up for next year - and the various pots!
POTS
VSP is hopefully going to fund a new D*yson - although it will depend on how I get on with paying off the OD as if I get to quite a bit, it may have to go towards that
£2 can't quite remember what these were for:o ... hopefully it'll come to me by the time I finish writing this! ETA nope - not yet!:o:o
50p these are going towards a new casserole pot! Would really love one of those rather expensive French sounding ones;) - there's an outlet in York *sigh* - good excuse to go;) although I think there's also one in Livingston as well so that's a lot closer:rotfl:
20p don't think I ever actually thought what these could go towards so that's something to decide
£1 I stick the odd £ coin in a tub if I end up with loads in change - habit started for the bus fund and I'd like to continue if I can
Other things I need to save for (small things - loads of big things that can't be done this way:o)
Bus Fund - would ideally like to double this by next winter
Mattress - really need a new mattress ... far toto say how old mine is but errrr well errrr
Will need to do a search and see how much they are - £200ish for a decent one?
Garden Table - will need replaced this year - totally rusted
Parasol Base - broke this year (not that it was in use that much!)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

Another debate .....
POAMAYC challenge - not quite sure this is the best challenge to clear my OD
Most people are incl things like min payments (say for a c/card - which there isn't one on the OD) and also extra payments they make here and there (PAD, e*bay etc - again don't have these for the OD)
So ... my figure will really only reduce once / month on payday after all the bills / transfers have been done
mmmmmm not sure whether to just ditch this and work on clearing it outside the challenge (I'm getting disheartened already seeing people making huge payments to what they need to clear - great but not great IYKWIM:o)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hello Rising, :hello:
A question: How do you put 'photos into your diary, please?
A thought re. your VSP Pot - if you've already got a Dyson, did you know you can have it reconditioned for £73?
http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/repairsandservicinginformation.aspx
..Have been told they'll even replace a blown motor for the all-in service charge, although think one pays extra for new brushes and filters - even so, could shave £££ off the cost of a new replacement.rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »50p these are going towards a new casserole pot! ..I got rid of mine after dropping a large casserole while getting it out of the oven; they are lovely, but so heavy - if like me you have weak arms or grip, they can be a liability.(I now use pyrex, much lighter).

..Both these can be found on Freecycle/Freagle.0
