    Good evening :)

We had a tassimo machine, used it loads (we both love coffee). Definitely didn't become something just lurking about in the cupboards! Isolde it on eBay when we bought a new machine. Our is kinda like this one http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9349061.htm

Think that's the new model compared to ours. We use Lazavva ground coffee, it's delicious! Expensive, but delicious! I use the glass jug bit on e weekend, make a pot in the morning and keep it warm til the afternoon.

  • Hi Zepsgal :D hope you had a lovely Christmas / NY

I had to chuckle when I opened your link ..... I had a machine very like that one .....had it for years ..... and it spent most of it's time in a cupboard :o - it was very fiddly to use tho':(

I ended up selling it @ the last car boot I went to!

  • So ... plans for today ......

Washing x 1 - had to put this on hold yesterday as had yet another set of disgustingly horrid dog towels to wash  and I will have to give the machine a quick run on empty before putting my clothes in .... no idea where I'm going to have the dog towels up! (I draw the line at putting them in the TD!)

Budgets - need to have a look at Jan's budget .....

Spreadsheets - need to have a play;)

Dog walking - think we'll head to the beach today ..... it's further away = more in fuel but honestly just can't face another mud bath so soon ..... wish it would dry up! Although - sure the extra fuel costs must be being offset by having to do 2 loads in the WM nearly every day!

Work on my household organiser ;) really liking this! Can't wait for my ring-binder to arrive (using the WW one meantime!)

Managed to booger up the printer last night  so will go & see in a min if it's sorted itself out or not!

    TTFN:)

Have a fun day at the beach, Rising :)

Can you just sling the dog towels over the doors to dry?

I get my Child Tax Credits tomorrow and am looking forward to it, as it means that i can put the allocated funds into the seperate accounts (i am starting from scratch with my emergency one, so it looks dire at the moment)..how sad am i?

Your ring binder looks like a great idea!

:j to getting the emergency fund off the ground .. they're essential but so bloomin' hard to get going! Everytime I get mine to around £200 something breaks

    The ringbinder .... it's growing arms & legs:o

I've now got separate sheets for meal planners by week - really need to try this again & stick to it if I'm ever going to make headway with my grocery budget. So, that's given me a bit more room on the "everyday" page and I've added a couple of rows to things like spending diary etc. There is still a shopping list on there - but this may get used for something else as there is space for this on the meal planner .... we'll see!

Honestly, it's addictive - I can see me creating one of the "proper" household journal ones too!:o (but that one won't be carried around with me all the time .... honest!)

  • Ah, she's really a good looking dog (and I am not a dog person). Look at that gorgeous shiny coat.

  • She does have the most amazingly wonderful shiny coat :D I quite often get stopped by other dog owners who ask what I feed her to get it looking like that!:)

She's forgiven me now as we went to the beach and she had a paddle / swim (nope, I didn't let her wear her new collar for that!:o) .... give it a few days of looking nice before I give in!
