Mrs Mort caused a panic in a local barber shop last week. Her fringe had been annoying her for a while but she couldn't be bothered to book her mobile hairdresser. She walked into the barbers and asked them to trim her fringe. The two blokes literally ran a mile but the lady in there did it no problem, and it was half the normal price.Proud to have dealt with my debts, became debt free on 03/11/2011. Hi Mort:) Mrs Mort is very braveI love the idea .... but  at the thought - sure it'd be fine tho.
Actually need to have a think about where I'm going to get it cut - it used to cost me £40-£45 to have it cut & coloured (small local salon) but the last time it was £40 just for the cut which I feel is getting just a bit expensive ... not sure if she's putting up her prices as people are going less often or because I've been going a whileGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi Rising, glad to see you had a good time with Maisie
Re the hair cut/trim /colour..have you got a college near you that does it?
I went to my local college when i lived in my previous town, and they did cuts from £4, Cut and colours from £12 and full on cut,colour,blow-dry, pamper/head massage for £15.
Never had ANY problems with them at all, all properly supervised etc0 -

Ohhhh I wish .... nearest big town with colleges is 30 miles away so not really feasible due to fuel costs
I will have a hunt around tho' as if I could combine it with a trip when I was going anyway ..... might phone my old hairdresser (town where DM lives) and see if she can fit me in over Christmas - I only stopped going to her due to the fuel costs of getting from here but will be down at DMs anyway ....
Really need to get my eyes tested too  and pretty certain I need new glasses as now having to take these ones off to read!:oGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
