Just a thought, but have you tried the never miss functionality on Sky, you can pick which series you are interested in and it emails you about 6 days before it starts so you can set the record.
I use it LOADS because I never watch live and am usually several weeks behind so tend to miss the adverts for new series or repeats before it is too late.
Glad Maisie was pleased to see you. Fingers crossed for getting her home soon.
SOT xDebt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.

So.... heading towards the dreaded early payday on Friday:(
Will need to sit down and work out exactly what's going where
I've currently got the House & Car pot (most of it anyway) transferred to my main bank account - it's reduced the level of the OD significantly which should result in lower interest charges :T;)
I will transfer the amount back to the House & Car account on Friday once my pay goes in so I don't lose track of it!and I can always move it back in January again if needed.

What's on this week?
Hoping the garage phone iwth news of my new tyres soon .... would be great to get them done this week!
Have a hospital appt tomorrow for a CT scan - not looking forward to it at all  but hoping it should be better than the MRI scanner (which I can't go in)
Really need to remember to pick up a new prescription from Drs on the way or way back - I also have a new sick line to get to work - was going to post it but worried about christmas posting ..... could hand in when I get the prescription (but don't really want to see anyone .....)
Need to do a meal plan (I'm not good at these) as brought a load of fresh stuff back from DMs and will need to use in order of use by dates so nothing gets wasted.
Making soup for lunch so I'd better get on with it!;)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

OK - hopefully this will make things easier on Friday:
Bills account = £600
House & Car = £238.50- Landline Advance Rental £10
- House Insurance £20
- Emergency Fund £25
- Car Tax £8.50
- Car Maintenance etc £25
- Car Insurance £20
- Fuel £130
- Clothes £20
- Hair £7.50
- Dentist £12.50
- Presents £10
- Opticians £10
- Holiday £20
- Dog £40
- Cats £45
Really hoping I've managed to get the Fuel pot sorted this month :T- I've managed to put away £95 from November's pay (not used the car much & have whalloped the OD:o which I do need to sort out!).
I've spent around £55 so far so if I can transfer the £130 on payday, I'll put the "available" £40 back towards the OD(makes sense in Rising land
)
The Others pot is also ready and waiting to have some funds put into it ..... really need to get to grips with this one this year!
The other budgets that need sorted are the Anything Else fund - atm this is being taken out in cash & used for "misc" spending - with any underspends going to the Bus Fund each week (it's creeping up - slowly!:)) .... and Groceries which is an absolute disaster area for me atm- hoping I'll be able to cut down on that and the plan is to put any underspends into the new Groceries pot until I can get to being a month in advance ...... may take a while!:o
