  • Ohhhh I wish .... nearest big town with colleges is 30 miles away so not really feasible due to fuel costs

I will have a hunt around tho' as if I could combine it with a trip when I was going anyway ..... might phone my old hairdresser (town where DM lives) and see if she can fit me in over Christmas - I only stopped going to her due to the fuel costs of getting from here but will be down at DMs anyway ....

Really need to get my eyes tested too  and pretty certain I need new glasses as now having to take these ones off to read!:o

    Hi Rising
Have you thought about trying a spectacle outlet for your glasses, I use one in Edinburgh, you just take you prescription into them, choose your frames and they sort the rest. I got designer frames and lenses included for less than £80 last time I was there.

  • So ... catching up on recorded TV from last night& really annoyed as one of my fav characters has left :( * and also that there was an extra episode on the red button last night  grrrrrrr really annoys me when they do that!

    * won't say who just now in case anyone's recorded it & not seen it yet;) (and funny as I really hated the character when "it" arrived)

Good news is that the new TD is here & works!:T It's huge compared to the old one  which should hopefully cut down on loads!:T

    OMG don't:eek:

I have episodes 2 to 8 sitting on my Sky+ waiting to be watched .... didn't realise it was coming back on so missed the first one and really don't want to start at episode 2 :(

Keep looking every week to see if they're doing a catch up re-run - maybe they're not at the lovely mid-season break they will
