    Sigh, George's eyes.............

Sorry, what were we talking about?! :rotfl:

The toilet house was actually really nice, except the woman turned the part with the urinals into her kitchen. And kept the tiled urinal wall as her cooker splashback _pale_
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

  • Good news!:)

Garage finally phoned and ...... they've sorted out the issue with the tyres and a new set's being ordered and should be in next week :j

Fabby!:D I'll get them to put the front ones (which are the right size!;)) on the back and the new set put on the front ..... phew!

They really are a fab garage and I've never had any hassle from them but you always worry a bit :o

That's excellent news about the tyres Rising and gret that you've got a reliable garage too - they're worth their weight in gold :)

  • Yup - they have a great rep & really do work hard to keep it.

It honestly never even occurred to me to check that the tyres were all the same when I went to collect it - and the servicing manager said it never occurred to them either when it came in as it'd come from one of the group's other garages!

So ... nice new set of tyres (funnily enough, they had already replaced one of the back ones with a new one as it had a nail in when I went to collect it!) .... fabby!

Swapping the front to back will help with the wear too so they'll last a bit longer!

    Hope they get decent ones!

You wouldn't check the tyre sizes though, you'd expect the other garage to get it right in the first place. So relieving when something like that is sorted isn't it?

    2013 budget ......

OK folks - how am I doing?

The Red + / Green - figures are differences from this years budgets - savings have allowed a couple of new budgets to be added :) - overall budget is up £250 but I've also added in the boiler savings of £300 so -£50 in real terms IYSWIM

Fuel is a bit of a guess as new car doesn't get as good MPG but not had it long enough / done enough miles to know exactly what I should get - and the tyres being the right size may well help too!;)

Thoughts / comments welcome ..... please!

Ah bottoms, for some reason many links on here don't show in work. I'll try and get logged on tonight (the weekend is looking packed at the mo :( )

I'm going to have a go at a few challenges next year - I might even join the January version of the DDD too, though not sure how getting the house sorted would fit in that, or whether that would be one of the declared budgets and you just have to not go over the allocated amount...?
