  • I've had to place orders for the cats & dogs stuff today .... had been really hoping to hold off until after the c/card cut off date (17th) but thought I was maybe pushing it to get the stuff with Xmas deliveries:(

Getting really low on Maisie's wet * and cat litter has been used hideously fast  this time as I'm back to 2 trays with their fighting  .... really don't want to run out of that!

    * have been holding off on this as was waiting for the P@H 10% voucher for joining their VIP club - well, it's arrived & it's not valid online  grrrrr

Alternative was to order the other type in bulk but I would need to order 3 lots of 18 to make it worthwhile which is just short of £40 - it does bring the cost down from 98p / tray to 71p / tray tho':T

P@H one works out at 76p / tray if bought in the 12 pack - but they unfortunately only do one flavour - so have gone for 2 of those just now.

Will try to replenish funds over the next couple of months & do a bulk purchase of the other type (different flavours ;)) then.:)

Perfectil is a good supplement to take for healthy hair and nails. In fact, I've got a few boxes of it at home, can post them to you?

In fact, they might be out of date... Will check when I'm home :)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Can you call the P@H customer services and play the "I'm housebound" card to see if they'll give you a wee code to use?

Tried!:) Unsuccessfully I might add - not very impressed TBH.

The voucher's valid until Feb so I should be able to get to store & use it by then.but it is discriminating against people who live a long way from the stores & disabled people :(

  • :jBig desktop PC has turned on again this morning!:j

A few more updates done :D (download limit seriously in jeopardy!) but will refrain from the re-start until I've finished what I'm doing;)

Have finally written the letter to my old employers pension provider to update my address details .... only been here nearly 6 years :o - so that's a good one to cross off the list!

Currently printing myself some blank 2013 calendars ..... I've got a couple of spiral bound ones from previous years where I liked the pics so cut the date bit underneath off ... hoping I can just attach new dates below!:)

Must order some ink for the printer too!

I am looking to move within a year, and have thought that i would love either a bungalow, or a house with enough space on the top landing for a sofa and TV, so i can cuddle up in the evenings :D

Oooohhhhhh - I can totally go with that idea. Where we are now, there is a summer house in the garden. The MIL made a comment about putting the boys toys in there in the summer so that they don't clog the house up etc (she was only trying to helpful) but I quickly marked my territory and painted the picture I've had in my head of it being a reading space in the warmer months - a cuppa (as I don't seem to be able to drink now), and folding chair and a book - yum! :D

  • Did anyone watch George's amazing spaces on Channel4?

There were some fantastic things done (some were odd!) but there was a woman who had a beach hut at the bottom of the garden & turned it into a fantastic space *sigh* - love that idea!

I didn't see that episode, but I saw the one with the woman who turned the public toilets into a home (insert smiley for 'gees me the boke!) haha! Love George Clarke, those eyes..... :o
