I got my Waitrose "Your hamper is on its way" email on 16th. Late yesterday I checked City Link and it showed that the goods were en route to the delivery depot. Early this morning it said that the goods had arrived at the depot ready for delivery. Early this afternoon it said "these goods are in our network". Still no sign of the hamper this evening. It is not that I am in a hurry for the goods but what is worrying me is how well packed they are to survive this length of time and be fresh enough to eat.

I can't seem to get through to Waitrose to ask about the packaging.

I will not hesitate to ask for a refund should the food not be fresh when it arrives.

I'm confused, I did order a luxury refresher hamper, but decided against it and canceled the next day, (have the email confirming this)
Just come home and my Mum had signed for a parcel whilst I was at the kids nativity, and yip it's the hamper!! doesn't look like I've been charged for it either!! going to go and ring them just now to see what's going on. Would they want it back after it's been at someones house for a couple of hours?

Did you all get dispatch e-mails for the luxury refreshers? I am still waiting for mine, website says dispatched but no e-mail received. I have phoned Waitrose who cannot confirm the date of delivery so I'm left waiting in on the off chance.

Got my dispatch email on 16th from Waitrose for the same hamper. I too am still waiting. You were lucky to get hold of Waitrose. I have given up waiting on the phone for ages. I have now sent a second email but am still waiting for a reply.

I hope you don't have to wait in too long.

Personally, although I appreciate the OP very much, I am disappointed in the lack of communication from Waitrose. I can only get so far with City Link.

Really pleased to hear that, Bennifred. Can you remember when you got your dispatched email from Waitrose?

I wonder if you will manage to get through to Waitrose! I gave up my efforts.

Thanks for that. Yours seems to have been a reasonable wait, a couple of days seems fair enough but it has been four days so far for me so I think it is understandable that I a worrying about its storage. Oh well, I can but wait.

    Enjoy!
