Got email today that my refresher hamper has been dispatched. Not sure if I am looking forward to it or not now. Still a bit early for fresh produce I think.

I just got one for my luxury refresher hamper. At least i got an email this time.
To be honest i have had an absolute nightmare with Waitrose Direct and would never order from them again. Still angry about having to throw all the meats and cheeses in the bin from the refresher that was delivered on friday (see my other posts)

Does your tracking begin with RPB? if so it is citylink. You might not be able to track it for a day or so yet though.

Because it was delivered over the road to me at 1.30pm Friday and i never received it until last night.
It is supposed to be refrigerated as soon as it is delivered but my neighbours didn't know that and had it in there house for over 24 hours before they brought it over.
All the cold stuff was warm:(

Citylink didn't leave me a card saying where is was and Waitrose were not even supposed to dispatch until between 19th-22nd.:(

Sorry, didn't realise the hamper had been left 24 hrs indoors. Just thought it had been a few hours.

Hope you get a refund without too much trouble.

Sorry to hear about your refresher hamper, but thanks for confirming that about CityLink, and that the tracking may not appear for a day or two.

Got my despatch email with tracking number (RPB.....), but it wasn't recognised on their system, however I've just checked now, and its there, and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

It does begin with RPB but City Link not showing any recognition of my number yet

Same thing happened with mine. Got the tracking email on the 13th, and it wasn't recognised until today.

Hi all,

I am expecting a hamper to be delivered today - tracking e mail was sent Friday and it shows on the tracking site that the parcel was collected Friday. It's a cheese hamper - does anyone know if City Link refrigerate such things?? Perishable items are on their restricted items - saying that they accept no responsibility for the condition of said items - and now I am concerned that my hamper may already have been out of refrigeration since Friday!

I have been trying to call them today to ask but its constantly on hold and driving me nuts :mad:
