Got my hi life card yesterday, and couldn't wait to use it, so went to Tony Roma's last night.

Had a lovely meal and the service was excellent. Saved over £25 and the card was left unmarked.

    :j :j :j

Will definitely be back after I've worked my way through the rest of the restaurants :rotfl:

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone sent of for their hi life diner club card that was advertised in the Belfast Telegraph last wk? I did and am just waiting on it to arrive!

Has anyone any experience using one of these cards? Are they worth it? The offer was for 2 months free usage at selected restaurants, 2 meals for the price of 1.
    oooooooh i luv a bargain :)

Have used my hi-life diner card twice with no probs!

Went to Apartment in Belfast at lunch-time. Food was lovely and I saved around a tenner and they didnt scratch the card!

Used it again in Madisons on Saturday night. Food was devine! Was able to use it on the summer set menu so again cheaper! They did tho scratch the back of the card lol.

PS - if anyone is looking an application form for one, Madisons had loads of them in the bar area.

Well tried Judes last nite for a meal. It wasnt expensive and really nice! Make sure you mention about the hi-life diner card when you book and to your waitress.

It says in the hi-life book up to 3 courses. We had 2 courses each, and they only took of ONE main course. When I queried this the waitress said they had only recently joined hi-life and the recommendation was up to 3 meals but they were only offering one! Can they do this? Should I contact hi-life and let them know? I notice some places only offer one course and it is stated in the book, but surely this is false advertising? I think the best thing to do is find out what the hi-life card entitles you to when you are booking your table so there is no confusion!

I used mine for the first time yesterday and I think the card is great, although i did have a few problems with it

Used it in Taphouse (which used to be the fly)

There menu is a main course for around £6 which a complimentary pint or glass of wine - this is not advertised as a special offer menu though so i assumed it applied to hi-life too.
But went to pay the bill and the drinks were included on the bill becasue the free drink doesn't apply to hi-life card holders

Basically had we only ordered 2 main courses and the drinks it would have cost more to use the card - scam.

However - after a bit of arguing with the waitress she called the manager down and the drinks were taken off the bill

Finished up getting 2 starters, 2 mains and the 2 drinks for £9.50 so can't comlain.

They never marked the card either
