so if it was a contract breach we could cancel our 3 month contract with no charge.
*excited* will free some £££££££££ if the case
Check the T&C's of your contract. I had a contract with O2 last year and managed to cancel without penalty when they began charging for 07744/07755 numbers. The T&C's of my contract stated that they had to give me written notice of any changes which were to my detriment and if they did not, I could cancel without penalty. I never received any form of notification from O2 so I wrote to them (and sent it Recorded Delivery) requesting they cancel my contract. They agreed and promptly did the honours. I was 6 months into a 12 month contract. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
With TMobile now excluding these 07744 and 07755 numbers from their inclusive bundles does this give us the option to opt out of a TMobile contract? Since they are now changing the terms and conditions from what was agreed when the contract was taken…..? I just can’t seem to understand why companies can change terms and conditions whenever they like but we can’t:mad:0

Their T&C says" no cancellation charge is payable if you are cancelling because you entered into the agreement as a consumer, and we have changed these conditions, and that a change is of material detriment to you."
So its worth asking them.
Can you please give me a link to these T&C0 -
Just catching up, bad news, however for those who think they can get out of their contracts I think it's unlikely. The fact is (and we've always known this) T-Mobile contracts only allow calls to UK fixed and mobile in their allowances. They've never officially allowed access numbers so they are just closing a loophole and they are giving more than 30 days notice which is all they are required to do so under the T&C's.0

Yes, but some people were relying (one of them is me) on T-Mobile as the provider of 07744/55 inclusive calls. I was using them all the time so it would be a great loss to me. It was done officially and announced on few 07744/55 sites. I think there should be a reasonable chance for me to get out of the contract.0 -

T-Mobile allowed them in their inclusive minutes again knowing full well what they were used for.So their is a material change for people who joined them on the basis they allowed these calls. Its got to be worth a try to cancel foc. Dont accept no from a Customer Service Advisor. Ask for a manager to call you back.Be firm but polite.0 -
No text for me either but I've read in several places it will be like that from 01/06/07. Can you belive my luck? I just got a 12 months contract (1 week ago) just for the 07744 numbers.
I wonder if there will be anything as for O2 with the 0870 numbers...0 -
I just had a chat with TMobile, all they keep saying is that 07744 & 07755 numbers had never been part of their inclusive minutes and they are just blocking a loophole. So it looks like we are going to be stuck with our contracts for it’s full length. I am just hoping orange and virgin don’t do same since I will be moving to them ASAP unless someone come up with a better solution.0

http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php via their geographical 020 access number out of your T-Mob inclusive minutes. Theirs a 5p connection which you dont pay if your not connected and USA/Canada is 1p a minute, India landline and mobile is 4p a minute etc (Lots of destinations at reasonable rates).;)
You can also use the https://www.pre-dial.com 07730 o2 number (click on free destination list)out of your x-net minutes to reach approx 50 destinations (Evenings and Weekends only)
Hey,
Gutted after finding out what T-mobile are doing with 07744/55 why now?? Now I’m trying to weight out my options, so assuming they won’t let me cancel the contract (7 months to go) what else can I do?
Choice 1: could be this 18185 service posted, but just looking in to their additional charges section, it states that there are more charges then just the ones posted there is connection fee of 5p + the cost of dialing the 020 (usually in the bundle , but still uses up my mins though) + 1p to the USA... All ads up when you get under the skin

chioce 2: Calling Cards... well im not a fan of these anyways, even though I use to use them a lot. I think there are tons of hidden charges here.. which I don’t really want to get in to... but they are easily available
choice3: YCW's new T-mobile service. Not sure how this is going to work yet, could be an option if there are no further charges added. Still remains to be seen.
Are there other options around ?.0
