  • I recently used parcel2go on the recommendation of this website and also Trustpilot reviews.

I'm left with the impression that parcel2go offer great value but have poor customer support. They are also in the business of, where possible, silencing any negative reviews that appear about their service. As such their commitment to service improvement is somewhat lacking and the genuinely good reviews that do appear are in all likelihood down to the courier service itself. • I've just tried to book a parcel using the offer code, and was advised by their online chat advisor that the offer has now closed - not valid until 27/3 anymore...
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...

I used the free code today. Add the code on one of the last pages after clicking the hard to spot use code wording.

I've tried using the drop off point finder with both postcode and city and it asks for the CountryCode field. Nonsense. https://www.parcel2go.com/couriers/myhermes

I sold some bike carriers on eBay, so I thought I'd give MPD a try. I went online on Tuesday, booked a pick up from work for Wednesday, with next day delivery due on Thursday (today). I informed my buyer of this. All good,so far...
However, there was no pick up yesterday (Wednesday) and still no pick up this morning, so I called MPD. They could provide no explanation for the failure to pick up and said that they now can't pick up until Friday, with delivery on Monday. So, my buyer will get the item four days later than I promised. Not good!

For those whom have followed this from the original thread I started back in 2008 & it was noted that people where getting ripped off on eBay & a number of websites run by Wajahat Shafi

Looks like he is back in business & using a slightly different trick.

We had a call today from Merchant Courier Solutions based in Glasgow offering to beat the current rates we pay.
Quick due diligence tonight on the company & they've changed their name from Prompt Parcels & our old friend Shafi pops back onto the radar when checking the companies credit scoring.

I cannot wait for their call back tomorrow, as he still has an outstanding debt to pay us for the invoices from DHL that we received.

Looking to send a 7kg parcel to America, anyone have any good recommendations? No rush for it to be delivered but as cheap as possible please.
    TIA :)

I find Interparcel to be the best for the States, it usually goes via UPS and so far we haven't had any issues.

    Advice please

Need to get an unwanted TV back to Amazon and all the usual couriers (Parcel Force, TNT etc) clearly state no compensation available for damage, even if extra insurance taken out.

Thoughts/ideas appreciated on how best to move this TV including some sort of insurance so I ensure Amazon refund value when it arrives rather than just tell me they have a box full of damaged TV.

    Many thanks

    Hi all,

Having spent the best part of 24 hours searching the internet for a small parcel service with international delivery I thought it best to ask.

Due to imminent unemployment, I am trying to research if it will be viable to set up a small enterprise selling items online worldwide. Somebody who currently sells the same items as I would like to is charging £3 for Standard delivery to USA (I used USA as a target zone to get a base figure). The closest I can get is £22. Where am I going wrong?

    My parcel will measure 14cm x 10cm x 3cm and weigh 0.5kg

Anyone have any ideas? and I hope it's ok to ask

    Many thanks
