What do you mean by moderate size? We really need packed dimensions and weight to give you any advice.

You could try UPS with comparcel.com which is £28.46 which seems quite a good price with a reliable carrier.

If it is valuable check the insurance cover with carriers - you will find there are a lot of exclusions. If it is not going to be covered and you have to send it uninsured I would stick to using UPS or Fedex who don't normally lose things.

Does anyone have a recommendation from shipping 3 boxes of 25kg from UK to the Holland?

Parcel2go will send to Netherlands for 14.99 Pounds + VAT per parcel with UPS or a bit less with Yodel assuming they are not too big - I used a 50cm cube. I would pay the extra for UPS.

    Go here

    http://www.parcel2go.com

to put the actual dimensions in.
  • When booking a parcel on parcel2go they ask you if you would like to take out any insurance to cover the cost of you item you are sending. I sent a 22" TV I had sold on eBay so naturally covered it for the value of £80 by paying £3 extra. Fine! BUT.... When it arrived damaged, I was told it wasn't covered as TV's was part of a huge list of items they don't cover as far as breakage is concerned. You pay that insurance for loss of the parcel only. Beware... It could cost you. Check out the list. It is huge! Cheap is not always best unless you are sending cannon balls or other indestructible items!
