My sister noticed this morning, she queued behind a woman who had a small box to send off. Normally under the old system it would have cost £2.70, she got charged £5.65.
I'm thinking of going with My Hermes for larger bulkier packages, especially the video consoles, and bulky things like shoes etc0 -
25% off myHermes courier service:

New customers only.
Apologies if already posted.
Or do MyHermes do referrals?
I think MyHermes are going to get a lot of new custom.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

I think they are about to collapse.
My local parcelshop had run out of cards yesterday so could not accept any more parcels.
The parcelshop always had its parcels collected by midday everyday but it was 7pm yesterday and the parcels have not moved onwards through the system since.
I tried to place an order for collection rather than taking to parcelshop and a message came up saying no courier collections from my area for the next 7 days.0 -
Does anyone know the cheapest way to send a parcel to the US (from UK). Not worth much and not exceptionally heavy/bulky?
TIA0 -
Someone might start a new thread on this but hot off the press - COLLECT+ GOODBYE JIFFY! – HELLO ONE SIZE FITS ALL.
Now this really is simplification.

So which one is the better one to use.
I've got TY beanies to send and not sending them at over £5.00 for one item.
Wouldve preferred My Hermes to collect, but as have elderly parents who loathe anyone coming to the house!
There's no my Hermes, collect plus anywhere near my house either - and I can't do heavy parcels either due to a bad back( the one I got sacked for).0 -

Why can't you pack a single beanie into a 16cm cube and use RM?. With careful packing (ie shoving in) I could get three in a box that size for £2.60.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Amazon have started shipping to convenient small shops using a Collect+ like network. Next time I order a bulky or expensive item I plan to try this as I practically drive past their extended hours collection point daily. The Amazon system extends to all its partners, it seems.
Tesco and John Lewis allow me to click & collect in the local Waitrose - used this last week for a JL purchase, excellent.
BUT
Ebay sellers have no such advantage!
'bout time Ebay addressed this by integrating it sale process to allow Ebay buyers to collect via a Collect+ like network.0 -

Would be useless to me though - unless they recruit more shops into the network, because my nearest is >10miles away! They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
